UNEXPLAINED ENCOUNTERS: Maine's Full Moon Monster (VOCALIZATION CAPTURED) 

Blue herons is my best guess as they make that noise at night, doesn't explain the footsteps but the audio sounds like blue herons at night. When I first started hunting on one of our Maine islands, I asked the property owner about similar noises and that was his explanation. Almost sounded like what I envisioned dinosaur noises to sound like.

My dad grew up in that area. When he was 16 or 18 he was walking the railroad tracks that border the swamp coined by natives “the devils swamp” and heard rocks crushing behind him while walking the back way home. When he turned around, he swears he saw an 8-10ft tall upright goat like man with dark hair all the way up to his chest and it took off into the swamp. Later on in life on tv, he saw a documentary on the jersey devil goatman and that other people were seeing and describing what he saw.

That guy that went missing on the deer drive that was in the Adirondacks not Maine or Vermont.

What about a Harbor seal?? They make some crazy noises and splash around on the beach?🤔🤔

I had almost the same experience. This was in upper peninsula of Michigan. Walking in the water. Only difference was my wife woke me up.

Bummer you hide what town it was should call taps have them come up on a full moon night I live in maine be cool to know. And yes state wide is open

I ran into it face to face.430 morning only walked a little way off the road into the woods it stood up on its hind legs and screamed at me.i had hears it day before.thought maybe it was a rabbid coyote.this guy is not lying

I had a strong feeling that someone was watching me. The feeling was so strong that the hair on my back was standing up and the fear I had. I couldn't get out that area fast enough and I was on my quad. As I got further away. That feeling went away. I been back there since. But didn't have that feeling.

I know people that watched a mountain lion chase a deer across the clam flats at low tide in Maine. Not saying that is a cougar on your tape. But I know a half dozen people who have seen mountain lions in Maine. I also know a guy who swears he saw a Bigfoot in Maine too. So you never know

Sounded like a raccoon to me. Raccoons also love water. A running away raccoon would bound, both front feet and both back feet but unlike a deer bounding the raccoon wouldn't cover as much distance so it would sound bipedal in the dark
