In the UNFILTERED Series, you'll watch every camera clip of a Bassmaster Elite Series pros day on a given body of water. In this Episode, watch Greg Hackney's Day 3 at Lake Seminole. #unfiltered #bassmaster #dayonthelake
I'm 50 minutes in so far and this is the best piece of fishing content I can remember seeing in a long time. Greg is such an amazing angler and he's great on camera. He seems to think out loud. I consider myself a pretty decent bass fisherman and I'm being schooled every second of this footage it seems. I can pick out sooo many mistakes that I make just by watching this and trying to put myself in this situation. I just admire the way Greg fishes with such an open mind. He's constantly picking up a different rod. I tend to get super focused on doing a certain thing at times that I don't let myself wander or think of the different possibilities. Thanks Greg and BASS for this amazing footage!
Follow him around on the water one day or for a tournament and watch how he positions the boat and fishes the put that together with this video and you’ll really see how much you mess up. I felt completely ignorant to bass fishing all together. It changed the way I pick up a rod and reel all together. Love watching the Hack Attack the water.
Now THIS is the kinda footage I need to see…The thought process….The decision making as to how an area is fished properly…..I love the highlight reels too but THIS is good stuff….
We are watching the Michael Jordan of BASS fishing. Thank you BassMaster, thank you Greg. BASS should have a camera on this man from now, until the day he retires. So much fun watching an outdoorsman with this much knowledge, and a sense of humor to go along with it. Hackney for the win!
I can't wait until the I see him hold that classic trophy he a class act an him kevin an jason are what i think of when I think of when I think professional fisherman
Has anyone watched this content 5-6 times like me , and learn something different every single time? Bassmaster this was brilliant to show Hackney unfiltered love it !
I love this! I watch bassmaster live so i can get those unfiltered moments. Seeing how guys like Hackney adjust in real time has got to be the best way to learn bass fishing.
This was bassmaster gold watching hack adjust as his fish changed mood to the spawn away from the buzzbait, swim-jig bite .truly Awesome content loved it.
Love watching Hack fish, it never gets old to me! I’m looking forward to Toledo Bend in February 2024! I’m planning on being there to watch him live on the water! 👍🏻🎣🇺🇸
This is how I wish it would be all the time. Put us in the boat with these guys all day. Hackney is a top 3 of mine and this is the best content ever! MORE PLEASE
The days of getting to watch this amazing fishing and interactive talking and walking the viewers through his day are coming to a end. The best Bassmaster video in a long time .
Hack Attack, back at it again. Just like back in 2008 at the Bassmaster Memorial Tournament. From Eagle Mountain Lake to Benbrook Lake.. Dude is a Real G, great job Greg from your boy in Azle, Texas.
Hack is one of those guys that can teach you a world of knowledge in shallow water, up close fishing, without ever saying a word. This is ALMOST as good as actually doing the fishing myself!!
The key to what makes this video so great is not only Greg hackney but his decision making. Boat positioning, when to leave, when to switch rods.. you hardly ever see stuff like this experience in videos.
This is such a simple but great idea. I felt like I was in the boat with a friend just fishing on a Saturday. No bs chatter in the background or anything. Great idea. Keep them coming.
Yes yes yes. More please!! That was a master class on shallow bassin. There was so much technical stuff I gotta watch again. Thank you. Keep ‘em coming
If I could only pick one angler to watch the rest of my life it would be Hackney! He’s an awesome fisherman and he’s very funny someone I would love to have as a fishing buddy
The patience when throwing plastic in after the frog bite to let it sit and wait before action and not feel like he has to get that bait moving to catch that fish right now is something I learned watching him in the past. We took a spotting scope and watched from a distance on a iPad screen when we followed him around and it completely changed the way we fished every bait in the tackle box. We learned a lot from the late great Aaron Martens following him around as well. Sure miss seeing AM in the lineup for these tournaments and miss even more his expertise on the waters even though The Hack Attack has been at the top of my favorites since I first seen him.
Great video, thank you. What is your take on line or reel conditioner. Supposedly, it makes longer, more accurate, cast and relaxes line memory and dries scentless
The man knows how to move in that super shallow water. Troller speed set way down low. He in stealth mode.Walks to the front of the boat creaping around not to set off water percussion from the boat moving. Most would spook and blow out the area and never know there was a fish around.
