He just said again a couple days ago that this might be his favorite song he's ever written. It'll always be one of my favorites and this version is epic :)
This is my favorite version of this song. The one-two combo of Ian Sheridan's bass solo followed immediately by Bill Bell's guitar solo is what makes it, in my opinion, the best song in this concert/album.
Am frm india...nd it seems weird to me how 90% pop singers make shit music which ends up wth Billion views on YT. But Jason Mraj is the truest artist of all i've listened to :)
If there's anything worthy of being called "Progressive Pop" that's it hands down. Love the way Mraz goes over an ever changing wave of various styles. Following his career from the start to the last album it's always a surprise what kind of musical experience he'll deliver. This, though, remains my favourite from him.
First it was Curbside Prophet, with John Popper on the harmonica. Then they have this song, with not one, but two amazing solos. Then immediately they follow it up with Jo Westly Boston's epic saxophone in No Stopping Us. This concert was absolutely perfect. I listened to the album all throughout my high school years. Him and John Mayer. They both were and still are the best.
One of my all time favourites! This song, this version. I never get bored of this. Everything here is just perfect. This live-act is the reason why I became fan of Jason Mraz.
