We had a truly unforgettable day in Ella Sri Lanka!
Ella, Sri Lanka is a jungle paradise.. with many, many places to explore like the nine arches bridge, Little Adam's Peak.. Ella Rock and even the amazing Rawana Falls and cave.
We spent today walking around Ella, Sri Lanka enjoying our time in nature with some amazing local vendors and stunning views all around us.

We really appreciate your help to promote our beautiful nature. Luke and Naomi thank you so much. This is a time we need more traveller's and foreigners. Cause we are going through a rough path and our business are falling down. Yet we hope you guys have a wonderful experience in our small country. Hey you two, thanks for visiting our country. Just so you know the fruit you were confused about was in fact a guava. The one you had in Colombo was a bit raw, it changes color inside and out as it gets ripe. And no you did not overpay for the fruits. That's what we would pay as well. Enjoy the rest of your stay...

I saw that pool on someone's channel. It is one of the most expensive restaurants in Sri Lanka. I don't remember the exact price. But it is the most expensive restaurant in Sri Lanka... One thing for sure if you are Sri Lankan you have to be a millionaire to spend one night at that restaurant...😂🤣😂

Used to stay at Newburgh Estate Ella in the 60s. Was never a tourist place then. Just a few houses. It has balloned has a tourist resort more recently.

Its good you didn't take the tuktuk ride. Tuktuk drivers in ella and specially in kandy are the worst. try to take an uber or pick me as much as possible. and also don't take tuktuks that are near the train stations. just walk a few meters away from the train station and find a tuktuk , prices are much more reasonable.

There are many different species of guava. This is one of those different ones that is ripe. It is guava. A not so common kind that isn’t commercialized because it wouldn’t keep well. You will only find them in ppls gardens or in small quantities sold by street vendors like the lady you bought it from. Thank you for giving back to the community 🥰🙏🏽😍

the intelligent Sinhalese person called D.J.Wimalasurendra who guided and took the responsibility of constructing the nine arch bridge had slept under this bridge when the the first train was driven over this bridge to show the Englishmen that this bridge was strong enough to run the trains. This bridge has been used over 100 years , now. He produced hydro - electricity from Laxapana waterfall for the whole country at that time.

13.00 its guava which special for hill country. And the amount you spent is really cheap compared to colombo the main city and that lady tries to give more stuff coz she is genuine. This will be a great help to her coz 200 rupees we cant buy at least one kilo of rice these days which enough to 5 people for a one meal❤
