I recently heard Priscilla was found and will be restored back to her beauty. There's talk of a possible reunion and a whole new adventure!

Pricilla queen of the desert is such an iconic film here in Australia. Guy Pierce was easily the best part (he was hilariously funny in this), and Terrance Stamp was a huge get for us! If you guys are interested in reacting to some other classic Aussie icons, I recommend the following; Muriel's Wedding (1994) The Castle (1997) Chopper (2000) The Nugget (2002)

So glad you enjoyed the movie, it's a personal favorite! There's a fantastic 1 hour docu here on RU-vid with the cast and creators of this movie, called "How Priscilla, Queen of the Desert changed the world | Between A Frock & A Hard Place", about the real stories and people who inspired the movie, its amazing I highly recommend it!

What a classic. The 90s was such a great decade for movies.

This movie won an Oscar for costume design, the designer picked it up wearing a dress made from American Express Gold Cards.

This was the OG ABBA movie, before Mamma Mia the musical movie

Back in the 90's you just couldnt imagine the impact this film made on the gay scene . We just never had anything like this before , and Priscella rolled across everything like a tidal wave of Fab-U-Lous Overnight everyone was quoting lines and laughing along with the jokes. Thanks for such a great review, and we definitely need all three of you on the sofa for more films.

First time coming across your channel and I loved the reaction. Big fan of the movie. To answer the question about whether To Wong Foo was based on this film, the basic premise of a drag queen film was being shopped around multiple film studios at the time and both were made close to each other. Priscilla happened to make it on the screen a year earlier while Too Wong Foo was still in post production so neither film is related. Studios just have a habit of going for a similar concept at the moment, like “The Illusionist” and “The Prestige”, both about magic, coming out the same year as well

Terrance Stamp laying the smackdown and then fixing his hair is such a perfect moment. Bernadette isn't gonna take anyone's shit. She's too old and self-aware to suffer bigots and fools. He's the stand out for me, with Guy Pearce a close second.

Bernadette (Terence Stamp) is in the process of transitioning. She mentions surgeries, and is taking a lot of medications. When it is discussed that she was once a part of “Les Girls” - that refers to an actual drag show that was in a cabaret in King’s Cross, Sydney from the 1960’s to the 1990’s. The star was Carlotta, known as “Queen of the Cross” who was one of the earlier well-known people to have sex-reassignment surgery in the 1970’s. The club, the group and Carlotta are all commemorated today as groundbreaking icons.

I commented on your Fish Called Wanda post about 2 months ago, I'm the nerd who had Wild &Crazy life from late 70's to 85 by making R&R ( mostly Punk ) & Theater costumes (most for Drag Queens) SO LOVE ❤️ all 3 of you on the couch!!! GIENA ( she put the E in last name so people didn't pronounce it Gina, she had Aunt she hated by that name) We went to Rocky Horror in 79? in the Village in NYC ( We'd both been in Shadow Casts at other places, she always did Frank ,I did Magenta or Columbia) We just went to see the show this time ( we still dressed ,she was Frank ,I was Magenta)... We were in front row heard a commotion in back of theater during, didn't think much about it...Until we were leaving && Mr Aday, Meatloaf himself was in the lobby!! We got to say HI and love you!! & got a Thanks! from him. We left because he was being Mobbed &outside Lottie said " I Told you to dress as Columbia, But NO!! You said it 's too Cold !! Again Thanks for Big Smiles 😃 you gave me!! I needed them, last few months rough, between being ill myself & our Best pup Izzy ( 16 yr old Border Collie) had small stroke last week, 3 days couldn't walk & worse...took to Vet thinking we'd have to put him down..Good News..Medication and pretty good recovery, he's confused alot & not seeing well, But walking & doing better in everything else!!😂 ❤& Thanks Again for the Great Time!!!❤❤❤

Okay, @TarasNeverSeen, you almost freak me out with how you vibe with kindness. This is not one of my favourite movies, but "To Wong Foo" is. So, I am going to look at other of your reactions now. It's almost like having friends. Since you liked "To Wong Foo," may I suggest, the Blade Trilogy? Snipes is amazing.

Muriel's Wedding (breakout comedy for Toni Collette and Rachel Griffiths and includes Bill Hunter who plays Bob in Priscilla). 2. The Castle (classic comedy which is easily Australia's favourite film). 3. Chopper (breakout crime movie for Eric Bana). 4. The Dish (comedy starring Sam Neil) 5. What she’s shouting is cooee not soowee. Cooee is and call used originally by native Australian and later adopted by the European settlers. It’s essentially a call for attention and means “here I am” and can carry a long way. Typically used if you’re lost in the bush.
