We are meant to grow and evolve. Often, in middle age, life just seems stuck, which can lead to unhappiness. Seek change for the things that are causing you distress, but also remember that small, consistent daily good habits lead to huge results.
If you are experiencing unhappiness, it may also be worth getting your happy hormones checked. We need dopamine, serotonin, and norepinephrine to feel our happiest. As a former family doctor, I didn't realize that these could be tested and treated, but they can, and it can make a huge difference.
Your body is designed to feel amazing, and when it doesn't, there is a reason.
