it's so interesting hearing someone eloquently describe being stuck in your sad feelings then also describe and show you how in little ways to get yourself out. I've been stuck for a long time and recently people around me have helped a lot but this has shown me the level of agency i want to achieve in my wellbeing

My husband was in hospital for a long time this autumn and I feel you so much on ‘trying to fill a void’. I shopped way more than I needed to but it’s hard! It’s such a powerless feeling to have a loved one be ill. Finally booked myself into a night course and got an allotment so I’m not tempted to mindlessly spend.

i love that you’re actively trying to get better with your music. i remember years ago when you were saying releasing an ep would be a dream come true for you and i’m glad you feel comfortable enough and confident enough to show some of what you’re creating in your videos. it really is lovely and feels so like you, as someone who’s always paid attention to the music you’ve talked about enjoying. hope you’ll release that ep one day!!

Just showed your music to my girlfriend, who's not watching your content and she was vibing as hard as I was. :) I was really moved by the song. How did you start writing music? I’d be so intrigued to hear about the skills you had when you started (like have you played piano for a long time?) and the steps you took to start writing and producing. It’s so intriguing to me as an art form but I have little to no musical experience or training. Also loved the tube intro. I love when artists use sounds from real life. It really helps set the scene, if that’s something you’re going for.

Try the levis ribcage straight jeans. They're about £100 but are well made, last years, and are super flattering on everyone. They are pretty much all I've worn since 2019. Check the fabric is thick tho, occasionally they bring them out in a stretch fabric but you want the really stiff cotton ones.

You have a beautiful voice. The speaking bit at the end is great. Reminds me of the group Swing Out Sister. Corin Drewery leads into a song with her natural laugh. It must have taken a number of tries to get it right.

You just gave me a huge light bulb moment and I am so grateful for it. My son when he was almost a year old (he's now ~16 months old) went into the PICU because of a severe reaction to a rhinovirus. He was on a heavy stream of oxygen, needed to get his airway suctioned out every four hours, and be hooked up to all the things (which he obviously kept ripping off bc he's a baby and moves). He went into the hospital again a few months later but thankfully was a lot more mild. Anyways, my life has felt like one big train that I'm trying desperately to catch up to. Like no matter how fast I run the train will go just a little bit faster. I want to quit my job and be home with him. I want to purge my house of all the crap and make it a "perfect" home. I want to cook everything at home. I didn't realize until hearing you talk about your dad that I think I'm still in a state of stress with my son and just desperately trying to control any aspect of my life. And, also, life is so short, and his health is my number one priority, so keeping my job I don't even life has become an even harder pill to swallow (though, in today's economy getting rid of any job that pays well is also hard). idk, now I'm rambling lol. The point is, I feel you

I wonder if you would like the podcast The Deep Dive- its very silly but both hosts have had experience with grief and serious illness and they talk about it with such heart and hope. For example, right now one of them is having a family member experience illness and she's been calling her experience of being along for that ride as "being in the Underworld"

When my father in law got sick I speedran a whole gender crisis in like a month. When things go wrong, you start to focus on what's really important and want to shed the things that we don't need. It's uncomfortable and always feels like not the right time, but it's totally normal. You aren't alone
