Real talk, I watched that video at least three times a day between June 1-August 12, 2020 and my "Uhnnnn" time would be the only time I could put all of my stressors and worries out of my mind. I was living an actual nightmare . I was (together for ~3-ish years at the time) to the meanest, fakest, lying Narcissist I have ever met in my entire life. I was gaslit, lied to, screamed at, choked out, slapped around, straight up beaten, pushed to the floor.A'ed and sometimes if I was "lucky" I'd get multiple rounds of each type of abuse all in the same day! I walked on eggshells for him and waI Ching Uhnnnn was the only quiet, restorative "self care" time I ever got (he would try to follow me to the toilet, like a 3 y/o and he "had to" talk to me the entire time I showered. He would lean his head into the shower and carry on with the hollowest speech. I could never tell when the ramblings nags about his *boohoo* "sad,rough" childhood, where he grew up "sooooooo poor". I've seen pictures, I'm not super smart, but I ain't completely stupid either and ifntheres one thing I know about: it's 1990s fashion and price points for said fashion. Every picture of casual family events, there's his dad literally dressed like Hugh Hefner, beautiful, well-dressed, much younger lady on his arm, the whole family decked out from head to toe in Tommy Hilfigure, The Gap(was a "big deal"/status symbol in the 90s), not to mention the Timberlands that graced their feet and he Fendi bags that his sisters carried in many pictures. They were mid-90s upper-middle class and his parents had so much extra money that they would pay him $10 to show up,at his little league/tee ball practice and $20 for showing up at the game without him throwing a fit to leave and go home during the game. He would also tell and retell the harrowing "cross-country" journey he and his Dad took to move to Minnesota at the start of high school, with more details every time. I digress 🤦🏼‍♀️. In 2018 I lost my my dream job and I could feel my world crumbling around me. I had to work a super crappy "I will literally pay you to murder using the method of your choosing, "please-kill-me-I'm-already-in-Hell-anyway" job for about a year and the Thankxgiving episode, plus the "Willam" & and "Courtney" episodes were the only things keeping my personality the slightest bit elevated, if only for ~10 ish minutes per day. Now, being rid of that POS, I happily watch Uhnnnn whenever I want and shower in privacy. Life is good.
