My brother and I have been coming up with our own intros and I've been starting my Math class with one for the past few years. My science teacher was gay…had posters put around the whole school that said “I’m normal, but so are you. Don’t be ashamed of who you are!” Which was sweet. Was also the only person to notice when I was abused. He probably saved my life by stepping forward and talking to me, and I’m thankful to this day for it. Still send him Christmas and birthday cards :).

I had a teacher I didn’t like, Mrs, Miller, 5th grade. She HATED me and I don’t know why. I couldn’t spell and she would read my spelling grades in front of the class, make passive aggressive comments about me, and once tried to push me out a window (middle 80’s when child safety was a gleam in your daddy’s eye). She was the worst bully! Finally, my mother had words with her and I changed classes. I hope she is still alive and living in one of them state run nursing homes being taken care of a CNA with super long, dirty nails.
