can you imagine if people actually had kids solely to look after them as old people their kids would leave and never look back before they even turned 18, I feel like wanting your kids to take care of you when you're old is a part of the parental instinct so you can't seperate it from the million other reasons people choose to have kids, if you don't want kids in the first place why would you want them to look after you when you're old anyway, you wouldn't even like them

They treat it like a club, and everyone with a uterus is expected to join -- or else, they take your woman card. My life is not about fulfilling society's expected & imposed role of me. I'm more than my uterus. My identity is not defined by my attachments, partners, or family extensions. The goal of being a good mother, sister, daughter, wife, girlfriend, etc. is so annoying bc these titles are focused on how well you cater to others. What about catering to my own needs?
