There’s alot to learn about the eyes more than what you would expect! I love investigating eye health, interacting with new people. I find it intellectually challenging too yet interesting. Optometrists have such a rewarding job! 🤩 I don’t share the uni I go to on here
Thank you!! We do up to 11 exams in the last semester but that can vary. It is similar to alevels or even harder as we don’t get markscheme to exam questions. Exams are written and practical. Hope this helps!!
@@khiaraisabelle Thank youu! would you say it is more biology based because I’ve come to really dislike biology a level 😭 i’ve almost finished all my exams but i’m worried i might fall behind or even not get the grades for cardiff, so i am preparing myself to do a foundation year 😭

@@ak-np1vu Hi so I would say it is quite biology based because there is alot to learn about the anatomy of the eyes and in first year you have to learn about cells, bones and systems of the body. Second year has taught me a lot of neuroscience too. It is alot to take in, as long as you can get over that barrier of biology (which is definetely possible) you should be fine. All the best!
