I know these have to be hard to make. it probably takes hundreds or maybe even thousands of pictures. I appreciate your hard work. and this is also by far my favorite knot for crappie fishing.

Got bunch more videos coming for the knot tying series. Working hard. Green screen is the hardest part because the lures and hooks want to reflect green from the screen. Then when I remove the green/chromakey it wants to remove the hook or lures which i obviously want to keep visible in the video. It is tedious process but I like the clean result. Plus subscribers have been supportive so that fuels me. 😊👍

Interesting video, well done. I'm kind of a snell knot junky. Of all the snell knots I know I find this one to be the clunkiest. Also, you need to put the line through the other side of the hook for best hooksets.

The line should be exiting on the hook point side of the eye not the rear. All Snell knots should have the line on the hook point side. It improves the action of the hook into the fish increasing your hook up rate.

@jasondadudetoo4176 I won't even use a Snell knot unless the eye is welded or you add tubing on the line or bind/ wrap the eye shank to protect it from being cut on the eye. There are ways to tie a Snell with multiple wraps through the eye to self protect the line but it's complicated.

@@Side85Winder I only use them for my punching/flipping/pitching rig if I'm using the straight shank hook.... Specifically designed for this knot.
