I live in an area with a LOT of snakes, especially this time of year. I used to think that every time we find one, we should kill it. Now I understand that they are just tryna live their lives. The day before yesterday my dog was bit by a copperhead. Thankfully he recovered, but I’ve always been surprised I didn’t want to kill that snake. I love your content! It’s helped me understand all these lovely animals more! Thank you so much! 🤍 Woah! I didn’t expect this to get as much attention as it did, but I just wanted to clear up a few things: 1. I live in rural Louisiana. There are more snakes that people. I think that a few people assumed I live in a suburban area. 2. Pets here are WELL adjusted to animals. 3. My family are not farmers, but we do have 3 1/2 acres of land. Note that all of it is used daily. Think of it as a house, than a few acres worth of backyard, and then another house. (My uncle owns the other one but that’s a LONG story.) 4. We don’t kill snakes such as king snakes or grass snakes. I apologize, as I should have mentioned I was only talking ab snakes such as copperheads or rattle snakes. Also, tysm for the likes! Edit 2: Remmey, my dog, is doing fine!

I don’t know if this is normal, but the man who owns the Riding Stables that I go to, has an African Grey named Joey, he’s not very friendly. He knows how to curse, and has picked up how to give out to the dog. Now he can make the dog, go to bed, sit, go away, and come!

I got a bit emotional hearing the letter and seeing all the stuff he collected for his reptiles that he never got to keep.... hopefully he gets masses of good karma for that!! That massive box of lights and props just blew me away. I watch these videos coz we can't keep reptiles here in NZ and hearing stories of those overseas that want to but can't is heartbreaking....

Your channel is soooo amazing. I just love the enthusiasm your have for everything. I'm really addicted to your channel. I watch it everyday. I'm in love with reptiles and spiders ever since i was a little girl. But only since my 40th of age i bought my first tarantula. I don't have any reptiles because i don't have a lot of room and the room i do have it's for my tarantulas. But that is one of the reasons i love your channel sooooo much, because now i can enjoy the so many reptiles and don't have to care of them :) Rex is my favorite. Athough her story is all so very sad, she looks so cute. Just like a little puppy. I'm so glad with people like Emily and Ed, who really know about nature and how to take care of animals like Rex.
