It was time to do an expert trail on the unicycle. Now this is an expert rated trail on Trail Forks and it's probably an expert level trail FOR the breadth of trails we have in the midwest - so let's keep that in mind.
Either way, the title of the trail gives you a lot of detail as to what to expect. You're going to hit three significant ravines which all demand some level of skill:
1. The first one requires some technique and creativity.
2. The second one requires some downhill skill.
3. The third requires courage. At least for me.
If you're in Chicago and are looking for a unicycling trail to increase your skill (since that's WHY you go to Chicago, right?) then consider hitting Three Ravines in the Palos Forest Preserves.

I'm a 64 year old here. Cardio is good from riding lots of distance. Uphill riding is good, and also have the Nimbus Oracle 27.5. However, my fundamental unicycle skills are a little weak still. So watching your advancement with jumps and hops etc is very inspirational. That orange rock jump would give me the willies, but watching your several attempts gives me hope. I like the way you give a fairly detailed examination of some of these features. Keep up the good work. Thanks

That 27.5 oracle is such a popular ride! Thank you and riding long distance, especially uphill, I’d no joke either. Good when yourself. Thank you for the kind words

Nice job! I’m a 68 year old pilot and started Muni again since college lol. I ride EUC’s (iNmotion V11/V13/14) but can’t take them on the airplane due to Lipo laws. So, I just bought a Oracle 27.5 like yours and I’m really trying to get better at it. My cardio is improving but I’m only good for a couple of miles right now lol. The goal is to do exactly what your demo is. I love trails and appreciate your videos. Thanks! Keep it up!

Omg my cardio is rough too. It’s hard work out there on the trails. I’m so impressed by you taking that up. I hope I can see your progress
