Those of us who thought Uniden was crappy...We were all idiots. We just didn't pay enough attention. Now, some of the best cordless phones ever made aren't being made anymore. Given that this is the operating system it seems is being used in Australia, we're missing out bigtime.
Uniden by far made the most durable, longest-lasting, and most reliable cordless phones ever. They're still available in Australia and a few other parts of the world, but they've been gone from the US market for some time now.
Supposedly the cordless phone was never used.. Have you looked on eBay? They've been showing up at pretty decent prices lately.. Like this one: www.ebay.com/itm/Uniden-Dect-6-0-Cordless-Phone-Telephone-Answering-Machine-System-Loud-Clear/322904090554?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2055119.m1438.l2649 I know it's expired, but you could write in and ask if they'll relist it.. 22 is quite a good price for these..
No, but they did incorporate some of the software designs and talking caller ID into the D358x Bluetooth series. There was then the D1880 non-Bluetooth before leaving the US. I don’t know why they’d update so much just to leave the US, but at least we get some of the designs that the Australian ones use.
I have a question, I have the same phone but when someone calls me, it has 4 rings (cause answering system) it won’t ring on the 1 when it shows a incoming call screen but when the caller id shows up it will start ringing
The first ring is muted if: Personal ring is turned on. Make sure it's turned off on all units. One or more numbers are blocked, or private/unknown blocking is turned on. The first ring will be muted in those cases so blocked calls never ring.
