this is helping me get my head around trying to do NXDN and airband scanning on one device. thanks 5 years later and your helping still! very well explained i'd say
@@digitalanaloguehamradio yeah I’m seeing that. I’ll have to work my way through them all, and maybe one day if I have all of it up and running I’ll make a video and tag you!!!
Thanks for your direction Matey.off to North Wales for the week and even though I bought a 2nd User 125 "Packed with Frequecies" it hasn`t got Low Level Common programmed in for the Mach Loop. This vid was brill 👍
This may seem like a really daft question, but when you press scan it scans the entire bank which is potentially 50 imputed frequencies. How do you scan just one single frequency?
When I look at frequencies online, next to the frequency there will say "AAR CHL98" as an example. When you enter the frequency manually, does it have to be on that specific channel or can you just randomly pick a channel to enter the frequency on?
Scrappy Cat I am not certain because I don’t have the American version but I would guess they have slightly different band plan to block certain things and different step rates for different regions
@@digitalanaloguehamradio Thanks. I didn't think about the bands being different. The functionality of the controls seems to be the same. Great video BTW.
Hello I was wondering if this scanner can reach as far as the US. I live in Essex and trying to hear communication from Lacklan AFB San antonio. Would this work?
Hi thank you for your Video found out so much, as I have just got this scanner. But can you tell me or show How you can program the frequency , like 121.705 and 118.505 which our Heathrow's Ground / Tower it just goes to 121.700 or 118.500
@Dave. Hello my friend, I am a complete Newbie to scanning. I live in Eastbourne and I am a photo journalist and wanted something I could hear the local RNLI and Coastguard. I have been watching your videos and have learnt a lot. One question I would like to ask. When I look up different frequencies to add from say a spread sheet, sometimes you get 2. So do you just put the 1st one in or both? I hope that makes sense. Any help and advice I would be hugely grateful of. Best wishes. Sy
Nice video man . Just little question. Like if i want to hear just a couple channels on a certain place do i have to temporarily lock out all other channels on that bank ? 😅
Hello quick question, I recently got my scanner and was wondering if the antenna just twists off, it’s on quite good and I don’t want to break anything getting it off👍🏻
