The Unified Podcast unites the uniform and sports logo worlds with co-hosts Paul Lukas of Uni-Watch.com and Chris Creamer of SportsLogos.net.

May be worth visiting the history of teams that changed their uniforms or identities and found sudden success in future episode.

...Paul, Los Angeles had a trolley system up to 1961...so there were a few years of overlap when the team name still kind of made sense.

I'm a little biased, but the most interesting anniversary patch in baseball, is the 1984 Orioles patch because it was a 30th anniversary patch mixed with a representation of the Orioles' 3rd World Series win in '83.

I'm trying to think of how many patches the Braves could wear this year. On the spring training jerseys you can see the 150 patch on one sleeve and ASG 2021 patch on the other. I'm wondering if they'll wear a 44 patch for Hank Aaron and a 35 patch for Niekro or one for both? That would be a busy jersey, considering the Nike logo on the chest and the tomahawk crest on the left sleeve of the Sunday alternates. I'm excited to see.

What do you both think is the best example of an alternate jersey that should be the new primary/secondary jersey? (like the Dolphins & Falcons throwbacks, or the Raptors purple dinos)

The bulls' 20th anniversary from winning their first championship patch was nice and it fit well on the jersey.

For the Ravens 25th Anniversary for the 2020 season the Ravens didnt put a patch on their uniforms im not really superstitious but if you look at the 10th anniversary in 2005 and the 20th anniversary in 2015 you can take a wild guess to why the Ravens didnt use a patch for 2020..👀😂

Sorry for adding 2 comments, but should teams celebrate the anniversary of their stadium? Like the Orioles do with Oriole Park at Camden Yards.

No mention of the Milwaukee Admirals wearing both a '50th season' patch for their franchise, and a Brewers (jersey sponsor) patch for their '50th Anniversary'? Related to the Admirals, how do you guys feel about them wearing a 35th season patch in 2012-2013, and then a 50th season in 2019-2020? The team was founded in 1970, but turned professional in 1977. The 35th recognizes the number of pro seasons while the 50th includes their amateur days.

The NFL called Super Bowl XL the 40th anniversary of the Super Bowl and it really annoyed me. I thought it was so obvious that it was their 39th anniversary.
