Congratulations to Assistant Chief Stephen Higgs on his upcoming retirement at the end of this year! Chief Higgs began his career in August of 1977 with Salt Lake City Fire and then became the Fire Chief for Midvale City for 11 years and now is finishing his career as Assistant Chief with UFA after Midvale City and UFA merged in 2011. Chief Higgs has held numerous ranks and held many responsibilities throughout his career.
