Wish we had a real cyber defense force, instead of three guys in an office with their feet up, to defend our people and national interests from online attacks, foreign state-backed hackers, and other nefarious agents bent on causing chaos and harm to public and state services. Wish we had a real navy to defend Irish territorial and commercial waters from incursions by hostile foreign navies, and opportunist foreign fishing vessels illegally fishing in Irish waters. Wish we had a real army to defend the country's border from foreign invaders, whether those invaders pretend to be "asylum seekers" fleeing British 'Rwanda Plan' or otherwise. Wish we had a real air force to patrol our skies. If wishes were fishes. But we don't.
