Why are some people complaining so much about the prices? We all know Christine works hard and deserves to treat herself to some nice pieces of clothing. They are clearly an investment and, in my opinion, much better than wasting a couple of dollars at forever 21

Daniela D'Amico exactly, the reason she spends more is because she doesn't want to support the "fast fashion industry" and buys things so they will last and be an investment. Even if she didn't have those opinions, it's not really up to other people to complain about what she buys

Being that it's summer time in Houston, increasing the use of spf in my makeup routine has become essential. The skin on our lips are one of the most fragile and lipstick/gloss only increase the sun's attraction to this area. I'm looking for the perfect spf colored lip balm that doesn't fade and was hoping you could help me out. Do you have any suggestions?

Christine! do you happen to know a less expensive alternive to the emerson fry slides? I wish more ethical brands were size inclusive, those jesse kamm pants are gorgeous but they don't go above a size 10.... once you get to above a size 12 your options for ethically sourced, fashionable clothing are slim and none and it's super disappointing. i'm not even mad about the price

TheParkplace10 that's the price you pay when your clothing is made by slaves like clothes from h&m and Zara. Clothes actually cost money and this culture of cheap fast clothing is only a 20th century thing. Clothing cost money.

I just want to add another viewpoint to this thread: there's always thrifting, which isn't supporting fast fashion but is more affordable if you don't exactly have a lot of money (like me.. lol) (Edit: actually i feel like everyone on this video knows this.. but just wanted to make a note that it isn't black and white!)

I think it's all relative really. If i'm not spending a boatload of money on gucci slippers or a nice designer brand name handbag and i want to treat myself to a nice top that is made well, I'll usually think it over and over before I pull the trigger.
