nice that the back cover isn't glued down because those can be a pain to remove if you aren't professional phone repairer.

I wish they went with a non glossy back. Nothing more annoying than on a phone gets fingerprints and act as a sort of distorted mirror. I don't understand why that was ever popular. They can look beautiful under optimal conditions but optimal conditions cease to exist the minute you touch a device.

@michaelcorcoran8768 since disassembly looks very easy and almost tool free, I hope someone if not unihertz itself releases an aftermarket replacement back cover that is matte. I 100% agree with you about glossy devices!

And now i have cancelled my pledge and continue using my Tank Mini. Jelly Max is not unique just, it misses a headphone, notification LED and there is a hole in the display! And there's no hope for any software updates either!

Unfortunately this phone is way too fat and heavy to be considered a compact - they should look at the Sony XZ2 Compact, and simply clone that with a 5G capable chipset
