Interview excerpts from 2003 featuring American political scientist, Michael Parenti, who talks about his book, "The Assassination of Julius Caesar: A People’s History of Ancient Rome." The book takes a critical view of previous theories of Caesar's murder, and argues that Caesar was killed because he was a reformer.

This is really interesting because the vast majority of videos of Michael Parenti speaking he is speaking very loudly to a crowd instead of quietly to one person.

@@nicholasturner7931 No, your ignorance of the realities of the Roman Republic and the nature of Caesar's attempts to overcome the oligarchy that exploited the general populace. You can be pedantically correct by stating specific facts, which is more annoying than anything especially when you are referring to an interview given without notes, but totally ignorant of the overall situation. Have you read the book? Or do you care more about being pedantically correct than having a holistic understanding?
