In this series of videos, My dad Brother & I chase Union Pacific's Newest Steam Locomotive Big Boy 4014! as it traveled from Omaha Nebraska to the Twin City's of Minnesota on its "Race across the Midwest Tour". In this first video we chase the giant as it ran from Omaha Nebraska to Boone Iowa. Along the way, we see the magnificent Giant roll across the Iowa Landscape. With the highlight being it's crossing the Des Moines River on the Kate Shelley High Bridge. We get to learn about the heroic story of Kate Shelley and how she saved the Midnight Express from crashing in to a Creek, and at the end of the Video we pay a short visit to the Famed Boone & Scenic Valley Railroad. While we don't get to ride the railroad, we do get to see some of the Railroad Equipment on display there.
