Yeah, those intermodal cars on the back of that coal train was very interesting, I've seen a small amount of mixed freight put on the front of a coal train but never seen intermodal on the back.

Thank you for this video of trains that you saw on 26 and 27 July 2023 at Montour, Iowa, Red! I enjoyed watching the trains including the night videos. The festivities around the arrival of the "pedal biker" riders in the RAGBRAI (The Register's Annual Great Bicycle Ride Across Iowa) were interesting to see riding on the roads near Montour, Iowa. The band sounded good based on the portions of their gig that we were able to hear. Did you ever find out what the Maintenance of Way crew was doing at the bridge over the Iowa River?

Golden West Service, you have to look at the Letters that tell who owns it. I saw one SSW St Louis and Southwest, SP Southern Pacific. They are SP rebuilt Box Cars. All part of the SP rail system from old times. I cheer Golden West Service. The Green Box Cars with the 3 leg tree, Boise Idaho, Boise Cascade corp. I Love old box cars. They say so much history.

Your video is over an hour long and she wants to go to the store with me...she be waiting a while lmao looks like it may be a slow order as these trains look like the are in slow motion going by your little slice of heaven. That second loaded coal, she was almost right at that crossing before the gates went down, hell, she was already around that little curve and people were still crossing. Some nice power on that mixed freight. Lmao train would have already been by at track speed, hell 5 trains would have already been by. I mean that singer was no Amy Lee or anything but she sounded good. No body beats Amy Lee. Lmao I'd say they were done with the slow orders. Fabulous video Red.
