GRETZKY IS DENIED! Sorry, just a Wayne's World quote. Yeah, wasn't feeling it. I'm glad I didn't because they were both delicious beers on their own! Cheers, Billy!

Noble Beast makes super well made beers. I would say they are better at lagers/ Stouts compared to IPA’s but anything from them is delicious.

Nice! I would say they made a great first impression. Awesome to hear more folks talk positively about them. Cheers!

I agree with you on their lagers/stouts being better than the IPAs I’ve had from them but I still definitely enjoyed them. They seemed to have gone for kind of a hybrid approach between New England and West Coast for most of their IPAs. None of them are super thick but they taste pretty good.

I was worried if you were going to do a cuvée, because I only saw it ending badly lmao. Can’t remember the last Baltic Porter I’ve had but I like to keep an eye out for them. Cheers Joe!

We're on the same wavelength, Cameron. I didn't really think it'd be all that good, plus I wasn't feeling it. Just wanted to enjoy each beer individually. Sometimes, you got to go with your gut instinct. I'm glad I did, even if the viewers are clamoring for it, haha! Yeah, I love Baltic Porters, but not enough American breweries kick them out ... especially well-made ones. Cheers, brother!

Yeah buddy! I knew you’d love that Murder Ballads. It’s so effing good. The complexity, mouthfeel and everything kind of floored me. I can’t see a Baltic Porter being a lot better than that one. I think our ratings and assessment our extremely similar for both of these. We got a lot of the same tasting notes for sure. I’ll actually be at Noble Beast in a few hours! Your video aligned perfectly with us having a planned trip there. I saw they had a NZ west coast IPA on there now so looking forward to that and everything else! Just a really good brewery.

Dude, that Murder Ballads was absolutely delicious! I know you spoke highly about it, but I still wasn't prepared, haha! The Union Pils was also extremely well-made and enjoyable, but lost in the shadow of a great Baltic Porter. Fun to review both, though. Thanks again for all the beer, buddy! I hope you have a great time today, dude! Make sure you pimp this review to everyone inside the brewery. Random strangers, bartenders, whomever. Be really annoying about it, too! LMAO! I'm looking forward to the Untappd check-ins ... if there are any. Cheers, Curtis!

@@averagejoe716 “Hey my man Joe did a review of y’all! Look!” 🤣 No we were only there and Masthead for a short stint. I’m on antibiotics currently so I tried to take it somewhat easy. Lol. They only do 10oz pours at Noble Beast but I had the Summer with a Chance of Exuberance West Coast IPA (Nectaron, Motueka, Citra, Amarillo) and Maui Hop Kief (Strata and Nelson). They were both good for sure but I preferred the latter as it had a bigger flavor pop. That Murder Ballads is still the best I’ve had from them. I love Union Pils and their other light lagers so much, but that thing is special. It’s amazing and glad I have one more can of it. To go I got a 4 pack of Helles (my wife tried there and was awesome), a can of hefe, a can of Rice lager, and a tiny bottle of Barleywine which I’ll definitely check all those in. It’s hard for me out at a brewery to really think about what I want to rate something so I didn’t check the IPAs in.

LMAO! They actually just replied to my IG post and told me to tell you to send me a bottle of their WDR, haha! That is probably the same Barleywine you're talking about here. That's pretty funny. Sounds like you have a lot of beer to check out from there, so that's cool. The Helles sounds fantastic! Sorry to hear about the antibiotics, and hopefully everything is out. I agree about being at the brewery = not focuses on checking things in. I usually end up doing so later on when I'm home or the next day.

@@averagejoe716 Hahaha. That’s awesome! Shit maybe I should have got you one. I got one which a little 8.5oz bottle. I’m sure it’ll be good and looking forward to all those beers. I’m pretty loaded up in general right now. The antibiotics thing was a cellulitis infection from a bug bite that started spreading. Lol. Pretty wild. Wasn’t terribly serious since I caught it and just took oral antibiotics and seems to be mostly cleared up now. And yeah I thought about checking those in but it’s too distracting being out. I prefer to be at home and really think about it but everything I’ve had from them has been a scale of good to Murder Ballads.

When in doubt, a Barleywine = always good for me, haha! Probably my favorite style, especially barrel-aged offerings. Good to hear things are gettjng better. Random infections like that suck. Just happy the antibiotics are doing their job! Same here. It's the same reason why I don't do a lot of on-location filming. I'd rather enjoy the moment. Plus, setting up the camera, making sure the audio is good, and doing all those little things takes up too much time. I'd love to do more stuff at breweries and festivals, but who knows.

I was waiting for the cuvee....i get ripped off. You had a black-n-tan, on your hands there. Probably would have been good. You probably should have had an extra glass, and just poured a couple sips of each. You dun messed up boy......Cheers!!!

DENIED, SIR! I could've easily brought another glass -- I do that a lot -- but I wanted to savor the flavor, sir. Black & Tan be damned (that unintentionally rhymed), I just wanted to enjoy each one individually. At least you got some more Whodunit Beer Reviews coming your way, though. Not all is lost! Cheers, dude!
