Unique Classic oven not staying lit or not lighting. thermacouple repair. 

this unique classic appliance stove had a hard time lighting bake or broiler I did have to bend the sparker just the hair towards The hole where the gas was coming out to get it light instantly but it was not staying lit.for the broiler I noticed that the thermocouple was way too low and the flame was not hitting it so that was pretty obvious but the bake bottom burner I had to smooth out the thermocouple with steel wool. I had to do that about once before about a year ago so I think when the gas is burning leaving some residue on the thermocouple that builds up over time since they don't use the broiler as much I was not an issue there. this is something easily can be done by anyone who owns this stove just getting to the burner you need to take the cover by taking out two bolts in the back lifting the back part up and sliding it back a little and then four bolts to take off the flame deflector and you can see the sparker and thermocouple on the right side. you just need to smooth out the tip of it when the steel will It doesn't take much to get it clean and then It senses the flame a lot better and stays lit right away.
