You are only allowed to drink beers in the seated section that are inside and only beers within the official WolfTrap Cup So what we did the 2nd time we went: 1. Brought a cooler 2. Bought a beer and bought the official cup at the concessions 3. Hung out on the lawn before the show, with our cooler. 4. Set our cooler by the entrance to the area where our seats were. 5. When needing a new drink, walk out to the lawn and my cooler, fill up my official cup with a beer, and go back in.
Showtime was 7:30pm but the opening act didn't come out until 8:40pm. Then LH went on around 9:30, ending around 11pm. We were good because we had seats so didn't have to arrive early. But some lawn people got there at 6pm and waited 2.5 hours for her. Also Obama fam was there, so she was trying hard and being cool. Put on the full show for 1.5 hours.
her showtime is 9:30. Any concert you attend will always have you waiting for the main act. The main act always comes on around 2 hours or so after the show starts (barring any issues).
She was supposed to go on at 8:40, the opening act is supposed to start shortly after showtime not one hour later, they were an hour late because Obama came and she wanted to hang out with them before the show
