I was bad! Broke down yesterday & opened day 1. Now I am even more excited. It's fantastic. You packed so much in. I am ready to go. Was so happy to see a piece of candy (stress eating mode) & then remembered it was a 1/2 pan. Perfect way to wrap them. So full but not sticking even in the humidity capitol of the south!

I bought the watercolor in the forest book for my mom with a starter watercolor set (the van Gogh 12 color pocket set) for christmas last year. She wanted to try watercolor, said she really liked it. I'm so excited waiting for my advent box to arrive.

Great gift idea video! Ordered my Advent box a couple of days ago. Can’t wait to get it! What a value! Other boxes I’ve seen are way more and crazy shipping. I’m going to do my projects in January. Spring, summer and fall boxes would also be a great idea. If you haven’t bought one yet, get it now before they sell out!!!! I think once the reviews start rolling in, you’ll regret not getting one! World Market sells loads of white porcelain plates that make great palettes, at very reasonable prices. Colored pencils are great for coloring books too, and you can get good ones for reasonable prices until you get to the Luminance level. Brusho can be rough on people with asthma, just saying. Also, I have to ask… is the sweater/jumper a hand knit? Thanks for all the great ideas, have a happy holiday season.

Good point on the Brusho, thanks! Yes, I've gotten really nice ceramic sushi plates from the thrift store that I use for palettes- they're great! Yes, I knitted the sweater several years ago - it's one of my favorites! Thanks, Julie!

I ever use my Gansai paints, not because of a lack of pallete, its the size of the box. its hard to fit on the desk lol i guess i could just take the paints out and 3D print my own container for them Brusho has been on my list for awhile, but im already messy enough

Yes, the amount of space something takes on your desk is a huge consideration. I have a Sta-Wet palette I don't like using because it's just a little too big...

is it really expensive to buy khadi sketchbooks from Jackson's? The ones on Amazon are either really expensive for a small amount of paper or charge a VERY high shipping charge!

I think they're very reasonably priced at Jackson's and the shipping charge is never very high, so I do recommend shopping there even if you're in the US. Hope that helps!
