What was the logistics like when it came to clearing the airspace and managing the airspace between divers? How was the jump synchronized? How did divers know when to link and break? Did they link in a specific way/order? How did they separate safely? Were they given a time where they were told to separate and pull when clear, functioning on their own accord? Or was there a specific order they had to unlink and altitudes to deploy chutes to avoid collision? Were there any 'safety' divers with tasks that didn't have them join the group? Anyone who trailed behind in the dive to monitor the group, communicate/coordinate, call for an emergency separation, and/or possibly intervene incase of a collision? And anything else worth mentioning about how this was all set up? I've never done skydiving myself, nor know particularly much about it. I'm just curious about how this was organized in the high-risk environment that group skydiving can create, with individuals able to end up to dangerously high relative speeds.
