I have flown quite a few times on the 767 and it is nice ! I have a question , why would anybody pay to sit in business class or first class and only get a bag of pretzels ! If someone is sitting in those seats they're playing a higher price for a better class of service ?
That's a good question and I honestly don't know. I just did for the experience of flying a 767 after so long. It was disappointing that the soft product as in food service was barely anything improved though...
i love the 767 (delta) for transatlantic routes. i was lucky enough to fly Detroit to Orlando on a wide body (a330) at the front of the plane. i have been on the 757-300 a few times and the 767-400 a few times. gotta love delta.
There is another way to get group one boarding on United Airlines you simply have to be a foreign based Star Alliance gold from BR🇹🇼 TG🇹🇭 ZH CA🇨🇳 SQ🇸🇬 LH/OS🇩🇪🇦🇹 OZ and AC🇨🇦. They also have the benefit of actually gaining lounge access for domestic United States travel. Which means you might be the only one there for a domestic flight. They also fly this between EWR Terminal C and IAH. For the East Asian Star Alliance gold members they actually see a United Club as a downgrade to their own. If you need a frequent flyer program that can access both QR AA/AS you will need British Airways Executive Club Gold Asia miles Diamond QR Privilege Club new 2024 Oman Air JMB JL🇯🇵
Liked, and Subbed. Love the style of your video's. I'm a super huge avgeek for airliners, and air travel, so your videos are right up my alley. Thanks for making these videos for those of us that love to fly, love travel, love aircraft, (and choose the window seat ) but can't afford to get out as much as we would like. Cheers and friendly vibes from Northern California.
I love the 767, but the only time I remember flying on one was when I took the same Condor 767 twice over 4 years ago on MSP-FRA and FRA-MSP. Though I believe I also took some Delta 767s from JFK to Berlin and back in 2009.
@@ASAviation The Condor ones were decent. The meals were much better than I thought. Unfortunately, the particular Condor 767 I took both times (D-ABUF) was recently given to Cargo Aircraft Management and re-registered as N462CM. But at least it isn't going to the desert yet.
Loved this one! United 767-400’s are more common here in Puerto Rico, but some times they surprise us with the 300’s or even the 777-200. Loved this video! Thank you for sharing an amazing job!
I was on the same flight the day before this. We were stuck in the tarmac for 2+ hours, and then had to fly way out over the Atlantic to avoid storms and circle back to Orlando. A total of almost 6 hours on the plane. Was glad to be upgraded to the more comfortable seat in Polaris, but disappointed there was no food on what turned out to be such a long flight. Our plane wasn't cleaned properly, either. Thank you for sharing your experience.
Yes, you had a good flight here on this route. And the United Club can be crowded all the time!😊And then when you go to the Polaris Lounge to that is crowded as well. Flying the Polaris First/Business Class in general. The 767s I love to fly and see here in Chicago. I have friends who love to fly that aircraft as much as they can as well. Besides flying the 767 as a passenger, I flew them when I was a Purser Flight Attendant in the years before the merger take over of Continental Airlines. So, yes, out of Chicago, I flew the ORD to San Paulo, Brazil flights. And those were nice. And the Buenos Aires flights as well in the 767s. That was very nice back then. I had also flown the Washington DC to London and Paris flights as well. I do love the 767 since leaving the company still. Those and the sister 757s are still great work horse aircraft. Finally, the Polaris seating is very nice for me since I am 6'2" on height andxzo need to lay my legs out and to not gave my knees hit with a another seat in front of me.😊
I keep forgetting United still flies the 767! United is good with a la carte and bundle pricing on additional experiences like cabin upgrade and lounge pass; in fact, they offered me just $40 for a day pass on my upcoming long travel day on Saturday where I've got a 10hr layover at O'Hare (morning to night) I think with multiple entry abilities. Which means my breakfast, lunch and dinner buffets are all just $40 total! I may do a video on status vs. a la carte :)
Gotta enjoy the domestic wide body flight, even a short one. I agree the 763 is an old bird, but united will fly em til the end. Nice visuals to show off the high j configuration!
Excellent video was always! Actually have a trip tomorrow with United and Polaris but because it’s Ramadan, I won’t be able to eat or drink anything so I kind of feel like I’m missing out half of the experience 😅. I’m not complaining though
