I'd love to see this route continue, and the possibility of one to Las Palmas in Gran Canaria too... it would cover the 2 most popular Islands with the largest capital cities of them too. If you like Tenerife, you'll love Gran Canaria. Every island has its own unique perspective, Gran Canaria has the protected sand dune area in Maspalomas.
thanks for uploading, greetings from Tenerife, the route is working fine with a load factor of 90+ %,local authorities are attempting to make the flight year-round,if it works in the Summer it can do perfectly in the winter
Winter is a gorgeous time to escape to Tenerife, especially if you come from a cold climate. It's a nice alternative to the Caribbean for US / Canadians in Winter!
I went to Tenerife 20 years ago. I had a timeshare exchange in S. Spain so I ventured out to the Island. I met great people and I’m still friends with a girl I met from the U.K. She & her dad came to stay with me in Los Angeles and took them to Palm Springs & Vegas.
Glad you were able to have Economy Plus for the extra leg room on a long-haul. I take it there were no more upgrades given for First Class to us your points.
I have said it before and I will say it again, BOEING MADE A HUGE MISTAKE WHEN TEH SHUT DOWN 757 PRODUCTION, A 757 PLUS/MAX SHOULD HAVE BEEN FLYING 10 YEARS AGO
This true. Amanda and i go every year from Dallas. We where actually on the inaugural flight on 9JUN22. The flight was great. United serivce was great.
I enjoyed the video. If it was me, I’d fly via Madrid etc and avoid United. They have a lousy reputation which they have earned. In addition, this plane looks very outdated for this length of flight.
I have flown through MAD/DUB/LHR/CDG/FRA and I do prefer doing that but this route was unique and may not come back next summer so I thought I would try it out
The 757 should not be used for hauls like this, United had to turn this 757 into a flying gas can to make this work. US carriers are obscene. Anything to make more money.
@@sanitman1488 The 757 does not have enough range for this route without extra fuel storage. Look into it, I did. They must have added more fuel tanks somewhere.
