Heard an archived interview of Broadbent by Galloway today. Canada wouldn't be any better off with a politician like him leading the country, no better than Trudeau. They can both take a walk into the afterlife together.

During the 1993 election campaign, Jean Chrétien made a formal promise to cancel Brian Mulroney Goods and Services tax. But once elected, common sense prevailed, Jean Chrétien changed his mind! Again, during the 1993 election campaign, Jean Chrétien a formal promise to cancel the helicopters contracts. Jean Chrétien did cancel the helicopter contract! A few years later, Jean Chrétien reactivated the helicopter contracts, but at a much higher cost. Nevertheless, Jean Chrétien legacy will be forever associated to the sponsorship program scandal!

History is repeating itself: Justin Trudeau cancelled the F-35 contract, only to reactivate the F-35 contract a few years later!
