Olly Alexander kind IS/WAS Years & Years. Your excitement is adorable. Rest assured that he has already said to expect big things on the night & there's bound to be some changes
Hello from the UK! Totally agree with your review... incidentally Germanys entry this year is one of my favourites this year so I hope we are both on the left side of the table! 🤞 there is something missing from our song and I'm not sure what it is either, but hopefully great staging and a great performance from Olly will bring it all together.
Thanks.......nice reaction and i sgree something just missing possibly a more punchy climax BUT he can work on that before the big event. Apart from that i love our entry.....very catchy preformed by an established artist. Im happy and as a proud Brit i cheer on Olly and just hope he enjoys this wonderful ESC24. As is customary in UK we excell in negativity and nasty judgement of our representing acts!! Very frustrating. Be positive and who knows what may just happen. Good luck Olly and all acts entering the competition in May.
I don't think it's going to win at Eurovision but I really really like it and will be listening to it for sure. I love the late 80's early 90's vibe/sound. Good job UK 👍 Greetings from Greece ❤
I love his voice too, the video is cool. not one of my favourite but I like it. I don't really like the fact he just repeats the same lyrics over and over.
Hi AK I’m from London in the UK, thank you for your kind words from Germany, but we both know the reality is that Croatia will win this year. See you in Zagreb next year😁😁
This feels like a Years and Years filler track. Really lacking the punch they were known for. It follow the standard Eurovision pattern without adding a lot.
As a British person who always gets very frustrated with the songs we choose for Eurovision, I have to say ... we've done it again - sent a song that will please the juries, but will fall flat with the public, considering other songs that are going to hoover up tall the televotes. And once again - we've released a song with slick, solid production values and a video that cost millions, but if he can't sing it live (like last year), then it will all be for nothing. I think you feel kind of the same about Germany's efforts over the last few years, no? 🙂
I ve been following years and years for years and what I can say is , Olly is absolutely incredible live : from vocals to stage presence , to charisma , to connecting with the audience . If the live will do anything for the song , it will make it 10 times better . Also , just him being who he is and people in Europe recognising him will for sure bring a good amount of votes to the UK ( years and years have more than 1 billion streams on youtube , spotify ) . I'm just saying , don't underestimate your entry for this year , a top 5 is really possible
I get really annoyed with the UK we have amazing artists and amazing music yet when it comes to Eurovision we the public are never involved in who represents us and what song gets put through it’s embarrassing…… here we go again career suicide for Oli and bottom 3 for the UK…
Last time we chose we picked Scooch FGS! And we weren’t responsible for picking Sam Ryder. This is the biggest issue with Brits, never satisfied or supporting our own acts. This is definitely not career suicide for Olly whatsoever, and it’s already climbing the charts. Plus you haven’t even seen the live staging yet. I remember people complaining about Sam Ryder as well, the video version was altered for the live contest. The most annoying thing about the U.K. is people like you!
