The fact that the UN has reduced the number to 50%, it is even far lesser than that, trust me the casualties are even below 20%, considering how small and densely populated Gaza is,the civilian casualties could be in hundreds of thousands.. It wasn't the UN, it was the Gaza health ministry itself that revised its numbers. The total number of killed remains the same. There are now 10,000 bodies awaiting confirmation if man, woman or child. This doesn't include the bodues still trapped underneath the rubble

Why didn't Hamas have the UN mediate a settlement with Israel instead of using violence? They ignored the UN as a means to settle their resentment now the UN defends Hamas that preferred violence to diplomacy and we're supposed to believe that Hamas had just cause.

Israel (and Ukraine) are not getting pallets of cash (unlike Iran) from the Biden admin. They're getting weapons out of our existing stockpiles, usually older stuff about to be retired. The _replacements_ for these weapons in the US arsenal were ordered as far back as the Obama admin. The dollar amount listed in congressional bills is mostly the monetary value of equipment we already bought decades ago. The cost of the ammunition provided, which is currently being manufactured in the US, is only a fraction of those numbers.
