You just can't beat the enlisted man's "Dress Blues", on the honor guard, complete with properly "curved" white sailor's cover, and white spats. Sharpest damn uniform ever made, proud to have worn it!
Hi Correct pay close attention to the lower brass section tubas, trombones etc and the drum rhythm section and the regular trumpet section sounding like the Heralds those loooong trumpets and yes I have played one listen to the Heralds imitations of the obbligato's . . Thanks for your time. Larry Adams Phoenix AZ
Notice the three officers in the lead. Who taught them how to march? So off step in the start of the vid. They should have went to Capitians Mast for passing in review with that.
Hi Pay close attention to the regular trumpet section acting like the long heralds and performing the staccatos aka credenzas If you want to hear he real credenzas go to the go to the Charles Zimmerom verson of Anchors Away also on UTUBE.t Thanks Larry Adams Phoenix..
The United States has no military parade tradition unlike every other major nation in the world, so it's a rather casual affair here for the modest inaugural parade which is the only vaguely military parade the US does. The Camera work here is horrible and I can't believe the on site "announcer" talks over the music - EVEN TALKS OVER RUFFLES AND FLOURISHES!
+David J Gill - US military parades don't show tanks or missiles because that would be vulgar and sending the wrong message. As Jimmy Carter (lieutenant, USN) said, "a quiet strength, measured not by the size of an arsenal, but by a nobility of ideas"
Ulysses S Grant famously showed up to Appomatox Court House in a rumpled and dirty uniform while Lee put on his best coat. America has long had a tradition of not giving a shit about flairs, and so long as we keep winning, thats fine.
@@huntingrunner Well, they are a thing of the past in Germany, for obvious reasons, but Germany has an extensive marching tradition and a distinguished history of military music which can still be heard at state events like diplomatic welcome ceremonies at the Chancellor's office and Bellvue Palace.
Other than my old home the U.S., there are many of my friends aged, respected people who are busy with responsibilities. Like really aged President Biden, the Defense Sectary of the U.S, and the Chief of Army Staff of the U.S also has all grey hear because of age therefore don't try to disturb them any wrong way. Even though I already said this I am with the first Pentagon for their defense. This is not just for China even for everyone means each state. I am with Russian forces for a special operation in Ukraine. But the U.S. and India are like my old home with many good memories. I am also with China and Russia for an independent world(Asia, Africa and middle east) from sanctions and restrictions but which I suggested way yesterday most likely peaceful and the last option is aggression as a reaction according to action. Otherwise, even China mosquitos will not allow anywhere for any aggression, etc.
@t m define what deterioration he caused. Trump literally had one of the best Secretaries of Defense resign on him, his Secretary in charge of Special Operations also resigned...
I think the sailors cover is the dumbest looking hat I ever saw. How about a campaign cover or modified brimmed hat. Even Briton, Russia, France etc have covers that are decent looking. They don't make the women wear them.
