Unity Beginner Basics #21 - Publishing to the Asset Store

Welcome back to another Unity Tutorial, and today I'm going to be guiding you through submitting an asset to the Unity Asset Store! Maybe you want to develop for video games but you don't have the time/money/knowledge to create an entire game and you just want to make something and sell it for other people to use. Well then you'll want to check out publishing it to the Unity Asset Store, this is a place where people sell their models/scripts/extensions/projects to anyone who wants them!
It's not a hard process but you'll want to be prepared and make sure that whatever you're trying to upload is good quality. So check out my video and let me know what you think!

Could you update this please? It doesn't work like this anymore. I think they made it more confusing and I can't figure it out so far...

Under "Asset Store Tools" there's no more "Package Manager". Instead there's "Package Upload" which requires you to login. But you can only login if you made a publisher account which I did. Then the Package Upload window appears which I think wants you to find a package to upload... but you can't search for packages you made.... I don't know what to feed this thing now xD Any clues?

I actually think I just did, You need to go publisher.assetstore.unity3d.com, click on project, then click on create new. After you do that, it /should/ appear in the Project Uploader. I say 'should' because I can't log in atm due to a 'Failed Connection'

chimeforest zomg this actually seems to work I think. Didn't upload it yet. I'm confused about the Picture size thing though. In the video it said that there's fixed dimensions they are supposed to be but mine are just random. It didn't say anything in the draft. You think it's possible that any pic size is fine? thx, it still took a bunch of fiddling but it seems to work. PS: I think you miss typed "project" for "package"

I am a new user who made some cool stuff and wanna publish it to the assetstore . I wanna create an assetstore publisher account but they want my url. I m confused and don't know what to write in as an url . Can anyone help me out?

its confusing, when i try to publish, i just see multiple folders of material prefabs and models, you just have one folder to upload which everything is saved in, i dont. And i dont understand why cant i just upload my stuff thats already saved in data D drive or C drive

An error has occurred. - Publisher key image missing. Please visit the "Info" tab and upload a large publisher key image. CAN U FIX THIS? ERROR WHEN SUMBIT PACKAGE THX :D

hello sir .. how many file can i upload is there any storage limit..for example as wE have 15 gb limit in google drive .. do we have any limit here on number of upload oR file size limit

Also Unity 5 have bug when you uploding to AS....it stuck upload to 1%

answers.unity3d.com/questions/1014072/asset-package-manager-missing.html In new Version of assets store tools you don't need that you can upload your package like this: Go to Publisher Admin Page in your browser, then "Create New Package" Now Open Package Upload in Unity Editor, Upload your package and then submit using publisher admin page from your browser. Yes and no, some publishers might say it's fine to do it, others might say it's only for personal use and some say only if you credit them.

It seems like the package manager is no longer in Unity. It is now on the Unity website at publisher.assetstore.unity3d.com/packages.html

No Access You are not registered as an Asset Store Publisher. This over and over again, I have no idea how to register, it takes to another place with even less information and I'm left totally lost. Guess they don't want me.
