Thanks! My logic trial expired after I sent off my mix masters. So at this time I am going full LUNA since it's free and I own plenty of their plugins. Doing demos am surprisingly finding more advantages in LUNA such as ability to disable plugins temporarily to save CPU and DSP. The automation seems fine so far. Logic drummer is great quick and dirty demo drums. But I downloaded FREE Drum plugin MT Power Drum Kit and started using it in LUNA and it sounds great. BTW to get a rad drum mix I created the midi drums and then split the snare and kick etc to different tracks by muting groups in the plugin window so they have their own tracks plugin inserts in LUNA. Pretty amazing.
Great tips man! I’m trying to get my channel going too! You’ve got some great stuff going. I’ll be checking out all your vids for sure! God speed to 1000. :-)
QUESTION, Is their a way to sync the edit and mix windows when they are in two separate monitor displays. For example when you select a track. Displays are not following each other. Can't find the answer any where. Thank You.
High there. thanks for this quick effective video. Do you know how can I go to left and right on the timeline when you are in a zoomed track? for example to go to the left on that track without having to use the buttons? thanks in advance
Thanks for taking the time to share all these tips. They are super useful! BTW is there any shortcut for fitting my entire selection into the screen. For example, in Pro Tool I have option+F for that.
Great videos .. wish they just keep going … I have a problem cut copy paste key board commands work but many others doing nothing like consolidate zoom etc … any one have any idea as to what I have set wrong
Bro! THANK YOU Man! .... By the way do you know if LUNA supports (a) Strip Silence so that I don't have one long continuous region for a small audio section and (b) Multi-Mono plugin support... Thank you!
Really enjoying the content...thanks I have 2 questions...please 1) is there a scissor tool in Luna ( similar to Logic ) ? 2) when I engage a new track, sometimes not all my plug-ins are available for selection ? ...what am I doing wrong ? Thanks for your time
Hi Richard... as far as a scissor tool, not yet - but, you can cut sections of a track using the "b" key wherever you place the play-head. Works the same, but just not a separate tool. As far as the second question, mostly likely it is that the track you've selected is a mono track - and the plugins that aren't available for you are "stereo-only". If you want to use them on the track, you'll need to create a new (stereo) bus, send that track's OUTPUT to the new stereo bus, and use your stereo plugins. Hope that helps!
