You can easily switch the tracks in S1 to a mono track if that is what the source material is. Then use the mono version of the SSL.

So it doesn't automatically select the mono version based on the track?

Can you put a mono version on a stereo track? I don't understand while superior drummer uses a stereo track for snare and kicks.
