When everyone starts thinking feminism doesn't pay the bills than we have uk economical growth. It's clear to much money goes to feminism not uk industries schools , hospitals , defense. I'm not evil but alot feminism need to get married or work
Most of the Torys own property and are landlords, thats why reforms in housing that is in favour of tenants hardly ever gets through parliament. The Tory lndlords will not pay ny extra national insurance , they have literally protected themselves.
Plenty of labour and other party mps are landlords. Many are very wealthy people. For the most part with a few exceptions are grifters. Politics is a gravy train.
They did that under Corbyn, but the response to 2019 was that instead of it being media slander and more so brexit playing a role, that it was because they tried to be substantive in policy, so the neo liberal wing think being naked on policies is what the electorate want, which obviously backfired because they look intellectually bankrupt.
@@KarakuraNinja Nah. Corbyn's response was just to ignore the deficit in the hope it would go away. Because, like his supporters, his adolescent thinking isn't suited to making unpopular decisions. Electorate are more intelligent than that. Which is why the vile lying little man lost so badly.
@@raymondbedborough8522 relatively and statistically to what? Someone on minimum wage working 37 hrs a week would earn £17,142. A difference of £8,500 - £13,400 a year. That is a huge difference. Remember this is starting pay for a newly qualified nurse, before any enhancements or promotions.
Taking 20 pounds a week back off people after they have been getting it for 18 months was always going to be difficult even though people knew it was not permanent.
@@sjn6704 no love go price the earphones and her stupid hair extensions . One of her labour voters would have to work a week an half to afford that duh !
One of the only things I agree with labour on and first time I given sky news a like rather then dislike. This tax rise is unacceptable This uc cut is unacceptable Taxing the already lowest earning people in the country is wrong and Rediculas while the people who earn double triple those people don’t pay more. I speak from Experience as one of the people at the bottom of the pay scale and have been relying on UC credit for the past year in contrast my mothers husband earns over 75,000 a year and literally wastes money left right and centre on ordering endless things they don’t need from Amazon and buying flash expensive items while I’m struggling to pay for my god damm basic bills. People like him could still have that lifestyle and do that just with a £1000 less to spend on gold plated toilet seats.
I can't believe the number of numpties who say people with UC should just get a job and believe BJ that there are loads of well paid jobs available. It's just a big lie
@@angrybrit7331 the answer to more money in people's pockets, is more people working and less people receiving benefits. If 40 million people worked and there was only one person on benefits, and workers paid just 1p a year, the benefit claimant would recieve £400,000 from just 1p a year tax on those working. Flip the figures to 40 million on benefits and just one person working, they would have to pay 400,000 a year in tax to give claimants just 1 pence a year benefits. Raising minimum wage just increase people's costs and pushes prices up. This affects those earning just over the minimum wage the most. It doesn't work.
So many good points raised by Angela Rayner. I don't see how anybody can argue in support of cutting the £20 uplift. This is going to cause untold hardship at a time when prices are rising and fuel poverty is going to be inevitable.
Both me and my wife work in Retail in permanent positions and have worked all the way through the pandemic. There is hardly any jobs, and there is certainly no career progression where we are. When this uplift is done will be fine, but we certainly will not be putting anything back into the economy as a result.
No jobs? People are crying out for HGV drivers and engineers. Me and my father in law are struggling to run a business because we just can't get an engineer and it's the same everywhere.
What doesn't male sense was giving out an extra £20 in the first place. As a tax payer I will be paying for someone to stay at home. Thanks for that, I'll just do some more overtime and spend less time with my family.
Seems to be the only one who says what she thinks about the way Torys treat workers ! Well done her - not best educated but has lived the life of people on low wages as a carer - lot of respect and time for her ! Rich have done very nicely out of Covid - working people screwed so rich can save on stamp duty ! Keep saying it as it is Angela
My wife and I are keyworkers, we don't get any extra cash. Some working families work only the bear minimum to claim as much universal credit. What bs about nurses, they are on much better money than most low paid workers.
Thats not true. One party is filled with corrupt liars who have cost the tax pay untold millions of pounds while presiding over an enormous COVID death toll. The other party have had no power for 12 years and therefore cannot be blamed for anything in this country currently. She is working class woman who wants to help her community. The Tory government were all born into extreme wealth and use their power to extract wealth from the country to give to their wealthy political donors (their community).
Here here tax the rich people,I think that the mps should give their cash to us poor people and tax the richer people and give it to us that need it about time the rich paid more
I support more taxes from the wealthier to pay for this. But as a landlord myself, I do not like the way we are being singled out as a target for covering the cost. Landlords are not the only or the principle beneficiaries if fiscal stimulus around the pandemic.
She bought an iPad, Apple Pencil, case, air pods and work telephone so she could continue to do her job during lockdown. She claimed £2000 for essential technology. Boris Johnson spent £200,000 of tax payers money on making his flat look pretty.
Is it by increasing the tax that Universal credit r able to support the needy? At the moment im looking after my mum coz she is sick. So i dont go to work but my siblings r kind they give me pocket money every month for taking care of my mum. But if i were working i dont really like to rely on benefit. I prefer to earn money that i work from my own sweat
Compelling arguments from the competition - its always the same. If she were in power she would do what the opposition would be doing. Politicians are NOT allowed to have good ideas, they get ‘removed’.
Totally unclear about what labour would actually do to address the social care issue. Yes, ok, business taxes/ landlord taxes… but which taxes/ what tax policy? how much expected revenue? Where would that be spent? When would this be implemented? This is what people are crying for
70 million people need water, energy and transport EVERYDAY.They were an asset that made a profit for the country, they paid for our taxes. It was the profit that made Australian and Canadian Insurance Co. want to buy my Water Co……..the Tories sold off our assets and the profits now go abroad. Guess where the Govt. gets money from now………..TAXES !
No, the Tories privatized our utility companies where we the public bought shares and sold them for profit to foreign companies. We the public are to blame for our utility companies being in foreign hands!
exactly!!!! People who work full time jobs but still can't make ends meet. This government has made working class people so poor that 40 hours a week isn't enough to pay the bills. That is a scandal.
@Boris made us poorer he is, but so are Labour for a very long time, they lost my city to the tories and its likely to go independent at the next election
@Boris made us poorer they won't be independence in Scotland it would be short term suicide and they daft up in the Highlands but even a short term suicide isn't appealing
@@r423sdex Like from the taxes of all the non uk workers that have left due to brexit? How much would the lorry drivers have paid in tax, and that pales in comparison to the epic shortfall in care staff that just isnt in news at the moment.
Totally inappropriately dressed to be a stateswoman. I know I know, we are not in the dark ages, women should be able to dress how they like, but come on, what does her look say about her? If she can't make this judgement call, can she be trusted to make difficult decisions for the nation?
Why is Labour being made to look as the "bad guys" for the spike in NI contributions that is supposedly set in motion to recover the "National health Services sector" overspending???
Because they were saying only a year ago, if we all gave one percent, we could give the nurses their pay rise. Now it’s been put in motion, the hypocrites are up in arms.
What would labour do? That's the question they cannot seem to answer or show a plan... Alternative taxes to who, how much, when - what will be going in from where?
@@Silver-st2zq They have no details to give. That's the problem. In the mean time BoJo and his clowns is all the country gets because they are not being challenged or held to account. Labour stands zero chance in Scotland too as the SNP are not being challenged. Weak politics.
Landlords do pay huge tax from the income. For instance now the mortgage interest cannot be deducted as a cost and thus they pay from the income which means that landlords are infact incuring losses. Not to forget landlords have contributed to reduce housing crisis and make the economy running. It is disappointing to hear the accusations made by her against landlords.
