As an American, I love watching British people get excited about what we'd normally consider mundane experiences like Chili's or Walmart, it's quite refreshing to see the innocence of that lol.
@@Rollonholidays I’ve only been to the UK once on a trip to London and I thought the food there was quite good. When it comes to fast food, I did try McDonalds there too and even felt that it was a bit higher quality than here in the US. I’ve also tried it in Spain and felt the same. Did you visit an Applebees or Buffalo Wild Wings as well?
@@Rollonholidays If American chain restaurants are you thing, then sure lol. Orlando/Kissimmee has allll the big chains even some I can't get at home. If you like Mexican food, try Chuy's and Tortilla Flats when you go back. They also have a Cajun sports bar restaurant like Buffalo Wild Wings called Walk-On's that has good unique food.
The ET ride was such a surprise! Wasn’t expecting much but it was truly one of my favourite rides we did at Universal. Goes to show that a ride doesn’t need to be thrilling for it to be memorable.
Such a good original ride, one of the only ones left! I do miss the Jaws ride & other rides that had more human interaction with them! Glad you love the ET ride the same amount as us! ❤
Really enjoyed your vlog and seeing all that lovely American food! I last went in 2019 - would love to go back but we’ve got 4 kids & can only go in the school holidays so mega expensive time. One day I’ll get back I tell myself!
Watched again with Lexi-Rae she loved it but was so tired tonight but was so pleased you replied to the comment last night so we have half to watch tomorrow! You are both so down to earth 😊
This is so cute! Both of us say Hi Lexi-Rae, thank you for watching our videos! Another massive thank you for the kind words! It makes us so happy to see people getting enjoyment from our video! ❤
It’s so sad, I’ve been checking you see if there’s been another upload everyday since the Florida day 1 vlog! Keep up the great work and congrats on 1,000 subs!!!
That means so much! Thank you very much! If you’d like to keep more up to date with us, you can follow us on our instagram @rollonholidays Every Friday at 5pm! That’s when our Florida videos will be out!
Just found your page and you two are ace, really enjoying the vlogs. Returning to Orlando for our 4th time in 5 weeks and picking up some really great tips - excellent videos.
@@Rollonholidays I loved aska lara but avanti palms we were in the tower and the rooms weren't quite as nice and our AC leaked but location was great especially for food places haha
I do believe the Orlando parks have become utterly saturated with trip videos, it’s like everyone going on holiday is now a professional holiday vlogger. That said I did really enjoy your video, got me looking to book again for later this year
Luckily we have a vlog coming soon where we tried chick-fil-A. It’s on our travel home day video, as that’s the only time we could fit it in! Thank you for the kind words!
i found your channel in the morning and have been coming back to it everytime im free because u two are so entertaining!! what hotel did u say this was?
@@Rollonholidays Youre welcome!! im going to Florida in May and was just wondering if it was the same hotel, but it isnt. Is there anything to do that you recommend?
Thank you for checking! There’s the obvious answers such as universal and Disney etc however we’ll try to give you some unique ideas that we loved: • NASA (Kennedy Space Center) • Kissimmee Old Town Car Shows • Orlando Magic • Outlet shopping You’ll see all these vlogs coming soon! So excited for you to go in May! ❤
@@Rollonholidays Thank you for these recommendations, im going to orlando and some of the main parks/waterparks but i needed some more ideas as i havent been before! I’m excited for some more of your videos to come out, my notifications are on aha!
A lot was filmed down those alleyways and streets that your walking down there at studios. Nickelodeon shows of course the soundstages behind Hard Rock Cafe and the opening of all that was filmed around those alleyways and other shows and movies including psycho 3&4 etc…
@@Rollonholidays absolutely every once in awhile you will see a “ hot set” sign ianywhere in the park to film car commercials etc.. I know n sync had a few music videos there as well
Hey guys , great vlog ; can I please ask how you found Avanti Palms resort I’ve heard mixed reviews about it not being clean etc and would you recommend and any dislikes about the resort .😊
Hi, thank you for your kind words!!! We liked Avanti, it’s obviously more of a budget option in Florida & you get what you pay but we found the rooms and things were clean enough, floors could have been cleaner etc but we found it ok! We’d stay again if the price was right too! I sent a big overview to someone else who asked so I’ll send the same thing over now! ❤
We’ll give you a big overview of Avanti Palms. Firstly, it’s probably best to think about how your holidays going to look, if you’re thinking of going to Disney for the majority of the trip, we’d probably reccomend staying on Disney’s site, purely because of the free transportation & perks you may get for staying there. Avanti was brilliant for Universal as it’s around the corner and can literally see Universal from the hotels. That being said you could always get Ubers to the Disney parks/ drive but obviously would come at an extra cost. Cleanliness was quite good in general, a couple of areas that we thought could have been a little cleaner but nothing major to put us off. The pool was amazing at the back of the hotel, as it has a kids splash area, shallow and deep areas, lots of sunbeds etc. They also had arcade areas in the hotel, a bar etc. Facility wise we couldn’t complain. They also offered free transportation to some parks, which was brilliant. The only thing we thought let it down was the noise, we could hear quite a lot from our room, people walking past and noise from the interstate at the back of the hotel. Let us know if you’d like anymore help with your choice! Thanks for the support again
@@Rollonholidays thanks so much I’ve for your review , I’ve been to Florida over 21 times but it’s always good to gain different thoughts especially when you’ve never stayed somewhere before. I’m glad you both enjoyed it as you say it’s somewhere to rest your head at the end of a busy day , would you recommend for 3 weeks or do you think there’s better options out there like Rosen hotels . Glad Vicky enjoyed chilli I think it’s a must try in Florida , I tend to go 3 times a trip. I wish they would bring it here haha. Great vlog again .
100% agree! There should definitely be a chilis here! I guess that’s what makes it better 😂 Depending on what you’re looking to do for your holiday, it’s close to universal and that was what we were mostly doing so I’d recommend Avanti if you’re doing a lot of universal, if your holiday revolves around more Disney, I’d recommend staying closer to there at lake Buena vista etc! ❤
I’m going to America again next year! Been 3 times already! Can’t wait to go to universal for both sides of Harry Potter!!! Can’t wait for your Harry Potter blog!! 🐍💚 have you guys got hogwarts houses? If so what are they?! I’m a slytherin 💚🐍
The Harry Potter areas in both park are absolutely amazing! Thank you for your lovely comment! We don’t have houses in particular however if we had to choose it would also be Slytherin!
We both got our T-shirts from Primark! Definitely reccomend keeping an eye out for their graphic tees as they can have some good merch for Orlando at a great price! Thanks for the comment! We love wearing merch when we go away so there should be more T-shirts to see in later vlogs ❤
She got it from Primark but from the kids section! Such a good steal, not sure if they still have it in stock but always worth a look on EBay or even just the odd look in Primark every now and again for some merch! Thank you for the comment!
wish u guys went on my rides would love to see that. I think it would increase your views a lot creating more draw. Hope you enjoyed your trip everyone has there own perfect trip.
Thank you for your comment, We did go on rides in later date, our first day was about seeing what the park is like etc. We had a 14 day pass and went to universal around 4/5 times on our trip so may not look like we did many rides etc because it’s spread out.
Hey guys, just started watching your vlogs, really loving them, you guys are awesome 😎 love your honest reviews and really easy to watch.. your channel has boomed so well, it's such a credit to how well you do these videos. Such a lovely young couple ❤. We have a RU-vid channel for our travelling but sadly not as good as yours lol, so we know how difficult it can be and you should be so chuffed.. hope you might get to watch ours too and let us know. Can't wait to see the other vlogs😊😊 keep them coming lol 😅x
This is such a lovely comment! Thank you so much for the kind words, we really do appreciate it! Honestly we are just being ourselves and trying to be as honest as possible, it seems like people enjoy watching us do we are definitely going to keep it going! ❤ We sat down last night and watched your travel day video to Orlando! You’re doing great, we’ve just subscribed, keep doing what you’re doing, you can tell you’re all a lovely family. ❤
@@Rollonholidays it's so lovely to have these experiences on vlog for ourselves and family to see, but we do love people's reactions if they enjoy it. Love the food reviews you do and will definitely be going to Shake Shack next time 😁 lol it looked like you really enjoyed that 😁😁❤️
Thank you for your kind words! We went in February, only just recently got back! The weather was superb, 20-28 degrees everyday except the last two days that rained quite bad. We’ll go and give it a watch now, and subscribe!
Not when its $30 per day to park at a theme park and the majority of resorts have a parking charge too. I will never hire a car over there again Uber every time!
I think by user’s you maybe meant Ubers? If so, unfortunately neither of us are at the age that we can rent a car to drive in the US. Thanks for the comment though.
@@joshl9328 don't get me wrong theme park charges are stupid but to basically spend $50+ on user's in 1 day is just as bad in my eyes. If you're staying round universal then no car and using uber isn't bad but that soon adds up once you go off to the mall's outside of the old belz (premium outlet) and vineland. Add to that if you go to Disney aswell then you're really and easily going over a massive amount and then revert it back into UK sterling to give your viewers a real comparison. Personally for me, I'd rather hire a car and use my villa I have there.
@@Rollonholidays yeah, sorry autocorrect lol. In my experience it's easy to drive there although yes, the charge fee for car parks both at the parks and resort is too expensive for what it is
@@RollonholidaysMy husband and I are in our late 40s (well, he’s in his 50s lol), we’ve always rented a car because between us we have four kids - our last trip we went without kids - we used Mears to get to our resort, and skipped renting a vehicle - it was so much cheaper to then Uber to where we wanted ti go than cost of renting a car! We loved Ubering!
