I worked back there many of times during the last 10 years as a carpenter in IATSE local 44 Hollywood . That’s our backyard, less than 5 minutes away is Warner bros backlot as well

The European area was also where they filmed the 1997 TV movie version of CINDERELLA with Brandy and Whitney Houston. The Kingdom's Village from the opening and then the wedding parade at the end.

Besides Frankenstein, I’ve seen that arched way in Sherlock Holmes Faces Death (1944), starring Basil Rathbone and Nigel Bruce.

In 1965, we toured Universal's backlot and got to see the original Munster's house exterior, as well as a walking tour through the soundstage and interior of the Munster's house. We met "Fang" under the stairs, and got to walk through Yvonne De Carlo's dressing room. We got to meet "Charlie the cook" from Wagon Train, after walking around the set from McHale's Navy. It was really cool.

I think he meant Tom Hanks and not Clint Eastwood…but great video!!
