A collection of 3D printable parts to mount cameras / screens / phones/ game consoles to monitor arms and articulating lamp arms. Shown here is a universal mount for the Nintendo Switch (OLED). The mount is VESA compatible and also supports a quick release mounting bracket that also doubles as a DSLR camera mount for VESA monitor arms.

"i mean, you can film stuff, but who's watching this channel anyway" Underrated. Both your channel and the joke

"When you're tasked with solving a problem for no-one, you might as well make the solution as diluted as possible." It hurts just a little.

I struggled with expanding this design for a few weeks. At first it was a Switch bracket solely to be meme worthy, but I was 4 years late to that joke. Combining the two ideas eventually and setting up the shots sold me on it.

I don’t actually have a use for this right now, nor do I have the luxury of a 3-D printer, but does that matter? Hell no, I thoroughly enjoyed the video anyway. Keep up the good work and have a Happy New Year.

I think you are downplaying the usefulness of the camera mount! I have 3 of them on my desk! Arms designed to hold DSLR are in the $100 price range while cheap monitor arms that can hold much more weight are in the $20 price range! 1: I showed you Twitter that I made out of scrap timber, that holds my teleprompter mount and I use it for shooting the "me talking into the camera" shots (it's nice to not have to setup a tripod everytime I want to shoot something) 2: recording top down shots of my desk, I use an adapter I bought on Amazon US for this! I always felt 3d printing would be fine for it, it was more of a convenience thing to just buy 3: A "DSLR as webcam" mount above my monitor

Hah, all i can say is I now have the perspective between writing the script and filming the shots. About 50% of the shots (like the time lapse assembly) were filmed with the DSLR Camera VESA mount and I was like "oh I should use this more". But I didn't want to touch the voice over again. I am glad people know the exact use case when they see it.
