you would seem to know Nothing, though, because he has all the answers and buzzes at the speed of light. It looks as if, at least in this match, he could've just won all on his own.
someone should really inform Paxman that just because a work of art is interactive (i.e. a video game), that doesn't mean it's any less profound or beautiful.
Possibly controversial but I think Darwin may struggle in the later rounds. Golfinos is too quick to buzz, he got burned a couple of times even in this first round game, and they have too many gaps in knowledge, pop culture and english lit being the biggest two. I look forward to being proven wrong though.
Duncan McCurdie He’s not that bad on pop culture, he is a theatre nerd and nailed all the video game bonuses. His major problem could be the sciences, Macpherson and Davis kind of cover physics/astronomy and biology but are not the greatest player on the respective subject
was there a point to crush the other team so badly? with such advantage i would let them pick up some point, maybe to give them a chance to come back from the losers pool of teams.
SOAS did get 90 points, remember? It just looks like a meaninglessly small amount compared to the others' score. I get your point, though, they were running up the score like crazy
WHAT'S BEAMAN DOING?! EVEN IF HE KNOWS THE ANSWER, WHY DOES HE NOT JUST LET PAXMAN FINISH THE QUESTION THEN GO ON TO ANSWER THE QUESTION?! AT THIS RATE, SOAS WOULD HAVE WON BUT BEAMAN'S A FAILURE AT LIFE! HOW DID HE GET ONTO THE TEAM?!!!
