Plekhanov Russian University of Economics is considered one of the most prestigious and best universities in Russia. Employers are willing to take graduates of this University. The University cooperates with more than 80 universities around the world, so every student has the opportunity to go to study in another country. Seems perfect, doesn't it?
However, after 4 years of studying there, I do not agree that this University is one of the best in Russia. I don't like the educational system and teaching methods here at all. So I decided to make a video that will take you on a tour of the University, showing the most beautiful places there and also tell you HONEST review about studying at Plekhanov Russian University of Economics.
In addition, due to the pandemic, our graduation was canceled, so I also want to show you what it looked like to get a diploma in Moscow in 2020.

But Dari - it has to be the best University around - it has 5 gold stars on the front of the building. You can't get better than that! 😆 The buildings looked very nice and you said the social life was great. I bet you made lots of friends. Natasha said the same about teaching quality at her Uni with quite boring lectures. During my time at Uni I just partied for 3 years so never noticed the teaching quality! 🥳 🎉 I returned to do a Masters and studied properly but it wasn't as much fun!

Of interest is that a university seems to have a "look" everywhere. Clean lines, simple details -- but! The Russian "look" also includes chandeliers! In America, the day-to-day uni experience was dull and only sometimes interesting. But you are judged by the name of the place and its "status." So, if as you say, Plekhanov has a good reputation, then that will transfer to you! Congratulations to you and your pal.

To be honest, the facilities are nice and clean! But it looks boring since the school is empty? The graduation is very different from Asian & Western Cultures. In our country, graduation day is a huge event that every students celebrate with their friends and families!

If I understood correctly you are saying that Humanities education, in general, is not good in Russia. Do you think engineering and medical are also similarly bad? I had heard good things about education in Russia in these disciplines.

Thanks for your comment, Vishal! It really depends on the university. I think engineering is okay. Some of my friends who studied medicine haven't been satisfied with the level of education while some others were okay with it.

Rohit Sharma I even took a look about this specialization at the main website of the uni ( I couldn’t find it). That’s not what I was studying, so I can’t tell is the choice good or no. Try to find a Facebook page of uni and the program and talk there to students who are currently studying there, and ask them. That will be more useful 👌🏾

@@DariStep Mine was just little crappy buildings dotted around the city, just standard classrooms. Some lecture halls. It was a very non-traditional Uni.
