Алмаз обычно находят среди камней и грунта (google translate in help you)
@@gingeroverseer9302 Watch documentary movie The Man from Mo'Wax, there's a lot of stuff about making masterpiece Psyence Fiction, Never Never Land and his relationship with DJ Shadow. As I remember correctly this video banned just because of too realistic style for MTV.
"If you're frightened of dying and you're holding on You'll see devils tearing your life away But... If you've made your peace Then the devils are really angels Freeing you from the earth..."
@@indraluap well spotted. The quotation in the movie is from Meister Eckhart however the concept is directly from Tibetan Buddhism, more specifically the book of the dead, which is recited over the bodies of the deceased for several days to allow the soul to release itself from its worldly attachments...if not, the angels become demons stripping away those attachments of the soul to allow the spirit to move on....
This is truly one of the best videos of that time and modern too. Here is a brilliant combination of Thom Yorke's timbre, unkle music, a bewitching video sequence and concept. With each blow this man becomes stronger, and later takes off his only protection - his jacket, feeling almost invulnerable. This is about how external circumstances make us stronger.
I miss the good old days where good music and visuals matter’s

I remember watching this video as a kid on MTV and been blowing away about the music and the story, I mean, I was like 10 years old and I didn't get it but I totally love it, such a beautiful masterpiece
[Chorus 1] I'm a rabbit in your headlights Scared of the spotlight You don't come to visit I'm stuck in this bed [Verse 1] Thin rubber gloves She laughs when she's crying She cries when she's laughing [Bridge] Fat bloody fingers are sucking your soul Away [Chorus 2] I'm a rabbit in your headlights Christian suburbanite Washed down the toilet Money to burn [Bridge] Fat bloody fingers are sucking your soul Away [Interlude] If you're frightened of dying and you're holding on You'll see devils tearing your life away But... If you've made your peace Then the devils are really angels Freeing you from the earth [Verse 3] Rotworms on the underground Caught between stations Butterfingers I'm losing my patience I'm a rabbit in your headlights Christian suburbanite You got money to burn [Outro] Fat bloody fingers are sucking your soul Away Away, away, away Away, away, away
I remember seeing this on a late night music show here in Australia in about 2000 and thinking, "Wow! This is outstanding." It is now 2021 and I think, "Wow! This is outstanding."
Yeah, he's great. But what's the point in getting him sing if it makes every single song sound like Radiohead song? I'd love to hear more UNKLE in this.
Clearly a masterpiece of Jonathan Glazer, between a videoart performance and a nightmare of Denis Lavant. The ending was done on a layer of blue screen and a car hitting an iron pole on the M5.
I watched this as a kid. It was instantly etched on my soul. The music, the videoclip, the acting.. Epic.. I still return here, all these years after, for solace, courage, understanding.. for me this will always be the best music videoclip ever created. A masterpiece.
I remember how i was blown away by this video and whenever i go through hard events in my life i'm recalling it. 90's... Whatta time it was in music and minds!
If you are frightened of dying, and you're holding on you will see devil's tearing your life away. But if you have made your peace then the devil's will really be angels, freeing you from the earth
This song means a lot to me. It's also the first time I discovered Unkle. It's strange how a song can come back in your life with a whole different meanings.
This is how I see myself. Driven over and over again by the standards of and by society. Behaviour, Conformity, Obedience. The protective shell of them enabling to go on. Enabling t to embrace the Temptation along the way. But I am who I am. An Individual, a Soul, not a machine. And I have grown aware of that. Even if I am rejected - Society cannot make me adhere to its Principals. I am what I am. I am only Human.
IVE BEEN LOOKING FOR THIS VIDEO ALL OVER i remember watching this on my moms computer when i was like 10 and sometimes it pops into my head cause man this shit left a mark
I remember exactly where I was when I first heard this. Jo Whiley played it on Radio 1 and I was driving on the Isle of Skye on a rough single track road. It sounded as amazing then as it does now.
The track has always been a favourite made greater by the video & performance of Denis Lavant. Tougher watch nowadays having lost my Wife of 21 years to Mental Health, spent the last 4 years watching her gradually being erased with not enough assistance from MH services to assist her.
I completely agree. If you think about it, of course there are masterpieces, there are not many of them like this one, but from which you are shocked all your life. The first thing I remembered and would also put in the top 10 is Depish Mod - “wrong”. cool made too.
Thomme yourke Tom York However he says it That's his lovely vocals.... T Y Mark Hollis and Of course Elvis are my favorite vocals There there is a big favorite of mine Along with all Talk Talk and Elvis did Bjork was great too Army of me _♡♡♡♡
Крутейшая работа. Смотрел еще на мтв. Очень талантливо сделано - и музыка и пение и клип и актер из клипа. Все еще помню как он эту фразу выкрикивает "шаме". Всем привет из России.
I agree with one of your comments.."This is Art", yet art showing the non associated nor compassionate Narcissistic World of Humanity. HUMANITY AND Humility to except we are Animals the same. Why should we be anything other
Oh my gosh ! I‘ve watched this almost 20 years ago in late evening on a german music Channel. I like this kind of music videos. You can watch it again and again and everytime fascinating 👍
I was shocked to see this on MTV when I was in high school and watched it again in 2023. The telephoto lens compresses the depth and the composition of the tunnel and the man is striking. Green. mtv was a place to enjoy talent from all over the world on a daily basis. It was culture.
Walking thru life, always wondering that something is wrong with this world. The cars are "sleepers" that speeds through life without noticing, just living their own little boxed lives and sometimes he has an encounter with them, one "sleeper" even tries to reason with him, but it doesn't sink in with them, that THEY are the ones not knowing. Finally he casts his shadow off of him and he reaches the true awakening, and from one second to another he's able to see the world in the true way and now can form his own world.
This is one of the best music videos I’ve seen. Jonathan Glazer has his finger truly on the button and Denis Lavant (sorry If I’ve misspelt his name) is amazing ❤️
