Ain't that the truth. I put up with 10 years of physical abuse and 16 of mental and emotional from my parents. Left me with a delightful little blend of Clinical Depression and PTSD that I've dealt with since age 12. Finally got sick of it, and my husband got tired of trying to see the best in them. So I disowned them in February, haven't said a single word to them since. *Best 7 months of my life so far.* Hopefully the next 53 months will help them reassess their priorities. I highly doubt it though...

I think of all the astrological signs, we are the most misunderstood...even by other Virgos. I think most, if not all, of these points are right on the money, i.e. be especially wary when a Virgo is acting aloof (it actually means we are analyzing everything that's going on around us); in fact, sometimes I need to distance myself from my surroundings because I am usually deeply affected by everything going on around me. @Mikala Baker Depends on the offense. It's gotta be pretty big to get our dander up, but once you've done it... Whooo boy. We DON'T let go. I put up with 10 years of physical abuse and 16 of mental and emotional from my parents. Left me with a delightful little blend of Clinical Depression and PTSD that I've dealt with since age 12. Finally got sick of it, and my husband got tired of trying to see the best in them. So I disowned them in February, haven't said a single word to them since. *Best 7 months of my life so far.* Hopefully the next 53 months will help them reassess their priorities. I highly doubt it though... All it would have taken for me to wipe the slate clean and try to start over would have been for them to acknowledge that they made a mistake and HONESTLY tried to change. Not only did they refuse, but they called me delusional for thinking that being shoved against a wall by the throat was abuse. THAT is the kind of stuff we don't let go of. Find a Virgo. Ask them what grudge they hold and why. Almost guaranteed it's something that would have most people howling with rage. We simply take our "quiet" revenge and cut the person/people out of our life.
