It was a really special opportunity to be able to share a meal with the M’nong people in this area. Not only was it a really special time, but I got to try some of the most delicious food I have had from an ethnic minority group as well.

Just a guy from Arkansas chasing his dreams of traveling the world, meeting amazing people, and trying all the delicious food I can find!
I am from a small farm in the states, I am now taking advantage of the opportunities I have to travel the world in search of some of the most delicious foods, unique places, and friendliest people.
A lover of street food, good laughs, and learning about other cultures. I hope to indulge in all these things and more as I bring you along with me on my epic journeys.

@@thomvu359 😕 cũng không hẳn. vì má tôi làm bên khuyến nông nên dc nhiều người dân tộc biết. bởi vậy khi thấy tui họ nói tên má tôi họ biết liền và đưa về nhà mặc dù tôi lạc cũng khá xa . tuy người dân tộc cũng rất thân thiện nhưng họ cũng rất ngại người lạ.

As a Vietnamese expatriate , I left VN in 1971 and never been back, this brings tears to my eyes to see how simple people live today. That their food is mostly vegetable is no surprise to me but I am so happy to see that they have a decent life. I really like also your drone video shots showing their house and garden area from above. Well done

I really admire the dedication he pours into every single piece of different Vietnam's regions. Those slight nuances in each region's cuisine culture are shown in a real, heartwarming and easy-to-access way, not something too flashy. And Max now sprinkles scenes with him flashbacking and sharing more of his own thoughts, filling them with his sense of humor so casually and liberally in the video. Love it XD

It's great, it's my hometown. You have been enjoying the very traditional dishes of the local people. I was born and raised there for more than 30 years but never once enjoyed those dishes. You are very nice. That's lucky Max. I really like your channel, your personality and your knowledge of Vietnamese cuisine. You are living in the Middle of Vietnam so the dishes will usually be more spicy than in the North and South. People in the North like to eat salty food, people in the Central like to eat spicy food, people in the South like to eat sweet food.

Thank you so much for such a great video. By the way i assume that the coconut oil in the video you were showing might probably be pork fat. A lot of cholesterol but Definitely add super aromatic flavor to Vietnamese dishes.

Love the style of video making on this one. The intertwining of the video of you at their home and at the coffee shop was quite entertaining as you were so hysterical. I love how inventive they were with all the different ways of making egg plant...totally different recipe from one to the next.
