You are the only one I have even seen on RU-vid, that uses this super handy "balance-plug-holder-thingy" and knows about it. When I bought my Fireteam I was wondering what the hell that was and at first thought it was just a spare tether for the body clips. :) You can even slide the balance plug right in there and the little tether keeps it in place. Well thought off by Arrma. Been grinding a lot of balance plugs in other rc´s in the past...
Try swapping to felony diffs and a spool. If you dare. They are same size, same with mojave. Parts are interchangeable, but you have way more room in fireteam to maximaze performance. Im still running stock electronics, and had to take 9 teeth out of gearing just to keep it on road. Mine is slammed with a body swap, and will absolutely smoke the felony. With current gearing, its around 130mph on 6s.
Stock Body is over 1.5 pounds.. and it's nose HEAVY. Swap with lightweight lexan body and PRESTO.. a lot better handling. Yes Batt relocation for sure!!
i run mine on 9 punch, i get alot of speed comming up to the jump then i roll off of it so i have throttle in the air, ive also moved the battery tray back, so far i can keep it flying nice and level!
thanks bud. i will try that out. after i moved the batt back - its still nose heavy. will try it out now witt seetting it to punch 7 - might already help
