The answer to "what if the spectator chose one of your sevens?" is surely this: work the trick exactly as planned, but of course you will be wrong when you name (secretly, to yourself) the chosen card. So, when you are "looking to see which card is missing", ALWAYS check that both sevens are still there. If one is missing, then THAT SEVEN IS THE CARD THE SPECTATOR IS HOLDING (so forget about the card you'd wrongly decided upon, in secret, a few moments before)

Hi!! I have faced a problem while performing and found the solution, mid performance 😂😂... Q.what if the spectators pick your key card?? Ans. Instead of letting your spectators placing the card into the deck let them keep it, and you just do a little bit of improvisation in your routine. Just ask the spectators to not look at the cards until you turn around and once you turn around you can have a look for the key cards as precaution. Hope it helps..

It's simple, once a 7 is chosen, it will be missing when you try to find it in the final phase of the trick. When I notices only one 7 in a pile, I know it is the other one.

Good trick, but how do you explain NOT using the third packet of cards? I'm sure that question will come up and needs to be addressed.

You can put the end pack on top of the middle pack to combine them into one, or you can even just divide the original deck into two if you'd prefer. The trick will still work the same, you'll just have more cards to deal through and 'remember'. Thanks for watching! 👍

@@coachtrick9332 OK, here's what I've done; I've taken your advice and experimented dividing the deck into two halves. I've set the sevens like this: one red seven on top of deck, second red seven in 26th position, one black seven in the 27th position and second black seven on bottom of deck. Split the deck as in original method, but you can't shuffle the two halves together because it obviously disturbs the locations of the sevens. This results in two sevens of the same color as the top and bottom cards of each half. Proceed with spectator choosing a card, placing it on top of packet and cutting their card into the middle of deck as before. To locate spectator's card, deal cards to table as before looking for first red (or black seven depending on which pack you begin with) and the spectator's card will be between the two sevens. Of course, the number of cards you have to deal to the table increases, but seemingly this makes your ability to see and remember so many more cards more impressive. What do you think? Hey, it works for me! And that's what is so great about some card tricks or any magic trick, you can modify it or customize it to your particular needs or liking without losing the effect or diminishing the spirit of the trick. Have a magical day!

@@coachtrick9332 I like dividing the deck in half. More cards seem more impressive to remember!
