MJX Hypergos got us into the hobby. Diffs go all the time, various other things break periodically and they were a pain in the ass for a novice like me to fix.
I have the same problem with the transmitter. I use it on my bigrock and put the second fan an channel 5. And it's running all the time and i can't turn it off.
3:33 my screws always came out, all the time. Thread locker made no difference (even metal into metal chassis). A-arm rods came out as well, since they are just press-fitted. Returned mine and got a Granite BLX. Possibly a little slower, but now when i crash, nothing breaks or falls out\off. Note: i wasn't jumping or bashing, just drifting around flat gravel surfaces.
It's a shame that you guys have had trouble with your HPX 114 or 1/16 scale I have a 1/16 and I have bashed the hell out of it. Just keep coming back for more.
Tough Nut , for the scale of abuse it was getting held up well . Performance wise a pocket Rocket, probably a good 2nd car ? . I don’t think most people who would by this car , will send it like you do! ( because you can 😂) great video Vas .
Old vid but just got mine - love it. Everybody slagging them off needs to get of the crack pipe. Aussie smashed it up big time. Love my XMaxx but this for the money and scale is a brute! I don't smash the crap out of my cars though.
Just got one here as well seeing the videos on youtube, mine came with a 2s lipo & the servo saver can't handle the stock wheels & tires on 2s, thought i had a broken servo but in the air it's fine, on asphalt it doesn't steer much at all standing still so it can randomly steer by itself pulling the throttle with 0 input. It's just all over the place trying to go straight & the servo doesn't return to center sometimes either which does obviously not help it's situation. Gonna try some narrow wheels from another old rc which had 0 issues like this and see if it works better, otherwise this might go in the bin after i grab the motor & esc.
Picking me up one of these bad boys next month for the price though you really can't beat it especially compared to some of my other Traxxas models ive bought in the past.
I hooked up my flysky gt3 , couldn't reverse no matter what i tried, well thats a lie i actually managed to get reverse but it was extremely slow and very difficult to get it to engage, so i hooked up my syncro kt-201 and it had the exact same issue. Any help in sorting it would be appreciated
Really like your video! Did you experience any throttle delay? Thinking of buying this and have as extra to my e revo 1/16z also heard the handling is bad and that the wheels are very loose. Have you experienced it? :)
The one on frontline hobbies is the 14210 and Amazon is the 14bm, does the frontline hobbies one also have the hyper mode in the ESC? Cos I heard somewhere only the Amazon 14bm one has it
Then you gotta try HBX! The 903a and the Buggy version is much more controllable than these Hyper Go rigs. I do have fun doing front flips and back flips on 2s in my house with my Hyper Go but it doesn’t handle as well as the HBX stuff but they do look awesome and are fun briefly. I like the mini Infraction on road Hyper Go the best and most people agree but these are cool.
shame on u ! it's a BB RC ! not to bash so much ! you have to wait mJX 1/10 ! i use mine on road and small jump ! Savage !! Australian Man ! crocodile !! ;)
That's interesting. It seems that some of them are quite sturdy... my is breaking on every single run that I do with it, barely last a whole battery without getting something broken. Super disapointed with the brand. I have two of them 16208 and this crap H14BM, both are really toys and cannot compare at all to some known brands. I would advise you to avoid purchasing these garbage "bashers" and instead of buying hundreds of additional parts, simply pay the money at once and get a decent rc.
Different strokes for different folks. Everyone is different and it's ok to have options. Thanks for stoping by and for sharing your experience, much appreciated. 😎👍
